"Nice place to stay in"
Everything’s on top! The room was clean and cozy. Breakfast is fresh and tasty (includes traditional English breakfast, many fruits, yogurt, cereals and pastries). The staff, especially Lina, is helpful and very friendly. Thank you, guys for this homy atmosphere ♥️
"Good Central Hotel"
A well appointed modern Premier Inn. Everything you’d expect of the brand on display. We booked months in advance and got great rates. Using the hotel as a base for commuting to London for the cricket at Lords worked out perfectly. Would much rather stay in more relaxed Peterborough. Great central location only 10 mins from the train station and a stone’s throw to the river quarter and town centre. A walk-in shower would have been better than a rain shower over the bath in a Prem Plus room for comfort, but no big shakes. We didn’t use the bar or restaurant but it looked appealing. Would very happily stay again
"Perfect stay"
Lovely comfortable hotel. As a solo traveller I feel safe there. I had a premier plus room which is very comfortable and I really liked the extra touches. Excellent WiFi, coffee machine, upgraded teas, fridge and complimentary water. I will choose this room again. Excellent food. Staff are wonderful and helpful.
"Great breakfast we'll worth a visit happy team. Well done"
Called for breakfast..so good so busy the staff lorraine isabella John the chef and head of team Warren did a wonderful job. How these four kept everything flowing so brilliant on this hot day You were all brilliant . Keep up the good work good team good food. We'll be back.
"Nice room, convenient location, but checkin frustration"
The room was pleasant and the hotel was conveniently located. The only reason I am not giving this a 4 (or 4.5) star rating was because of the checkin policy and the way we were therefore treated. We arrived around 1.30 and we asked nicely if we could check in and were told no come back at 3 when checkin is allowed. I'm in the tourism industry and travel the world all the time, and almost every other hotel would give a different response, something like "you're a bit early, but let me try and help". Anyway, we sat down in reception and got our laptops out to wait out the 1.5 hours and the person suddenly then became more helpful and said she's check her computer to see if our room was ready. It wasn't, but 15 minutes later she came back to us and said she'd walked across to the room and checked and realized it was in fact ready. So after wasting about half an hour, we eventually got into our room nice and early. It would have been so easy for the checkin staff member to have been more helpful from the start. I realise she is bound by the hotel policy, but she just didn't really seem to want to help the guests who pay her salary. Make no mistake she always had a smile on her face and was not rude, but she could have just made a bit of an effort to help. The fact is a lovely, clean room was there waiting for us. She did waiver the usual £15 early checkin fee, which I have mixed feelings about. Most hotels across the planet would of course simply just waiver this fee for an hour early checkin if the room is ready, to keep guests happy. To be told that she's doing us a favor to waiver the fee kinda made it worse. We'd already been treated the wrong way. The service industry should be just that, about service.
