Bristol (Alveston) hotel

Staff are friendly and helpful, the bedrooms face out over a lovely cricket green so is a delight to stayover especially in the summer months. As a regular visitor over the last 7+ years I have found for a while now that the only disappointment is the pathetic WiFi coverage both free and paid for - it was non existent during my last three visits! After reporting this on repeated occasions to staff they say that attempts have been made to fix the problem and it is outside their control to do anything about it. As a business person this means I am out of contact with my office and clients by email during my 4 night stayovers unless I use the pub next door and has become such a problem that means I regret in future having to move to alternative accommodation.

Very good experience at this Premier Inn, as before. Staff very helpful, in particular Tracey, who went the extra mile to be helpful, providing fans on very hot days and arranging a breakfast time to suit us on a special occasion. All staff helpful, room comfortable, a good atmosphere throughout, nice breakfast. Very pleasant stay. Would recommend.

What can I say about the wonderful fantastic staff at the Premier Inn in Thornbury. When I booked, I informed them that we are newlyweds, genuinely got married the day before our stay. I rang them and mentioned this casually, hoping they'd leave us maybe a card in the room. But, the amazing staff at the Premier Inn took that information, ran with it and re wrote the expressive "bridal suite". When myself and my new husband opened our room we were blown away and I was immediately in tears. Fairy lights, wine, the MOST AMAZING towel swans shaped into a heart that we have ever seen, rose petals, a handwritten card, box of shortbread biscuits, and honestly, so so much more amazing wedding memorabilia I've ever witnessed. We weren't expecting such a display of love and genuine happiness from a team who are incredibly busy running the lovely hotel. Our actual bridal suite at our wedding venue was no where (absolutely nowhere!!!!) as beautifully laid out with this amount of effort from the Premier Inn staff. The biggest and blessed thankyou to all involved! We wwrenr expecting this and are genuinely blown away. Thankyou to all the staff but a huge personal thankyou to Tracey and Sally. You both are rock stars. I genuinely hope you get to experience the happiness you've given my new husband and I. I would encourage everyone to stay here. The room and the bed us beautiful, the BEST sleep and the comfiest bed. Bathroom is lovely and shower was perfect! Absolutely choosing this hotel again in the future.

Room was very spacious and clean and had a balcony overlooking a cricket pitch. Would be lovely on a sunny day. Reception staff welcoming, polite and efficient. Only downside was the rooms have no central heating or air conditioning which wasn't an issue this time but would be on a colder/warmer day. Communal carpet areas were a bit grubby.

What can I say. This hotel is the best premier inn we have stayed in. From the amazing staff (especially Kelly) to the fantastic accessible room. Being disabled this hotel catered for my every need. It is wheelchair accessible throught ,even an electric ramp installed to get you up 3 steps that take you to the amazing breakfast room. Breakfast was amazing, so fresh ,from continental to full English and cereal. It has high chairs for baby's to. The rooms are so spacious and bed very comfortable. Staff took time to make us feel so welcome and were there to greet anyone who arrived. We are so glad we found this hotel. We live in the midlands and travel quite often .we will be staying here in the very near future. A massive thank you to Kelly the manager she went above and beyond for us. Also to the other staff a big thank you . It's lovely to see staff and management getting on so well . Definitely give this hotel a chance believe me you won't be Disappointed.
