Glasgow (Bearsden) Hotel

Wir haben das Hotel für einen Urlaub von 7 Tagen in Schottland als Familie (Ehepaar, 1 Tochter 10 Jahre) über die Premier-Inn Website gebucht und wurden gleich darauf hingewiesen, dass dieses Hotel in der Einflugschneise des Flughafen Glasgow liegt. Wir kamen spät in der Nacht an, wurden von einem freundlichen Herrn an der Rezeption empfangen und waren vom Zimmer angenehm überrascht. Es war in ordentlichem Zustand und sauber. Es gab nichts zu beanstanden. Parkplatz ist hinter dem Haus und das Hotel war so freundlich, bei Abreise unseren alten Koffer zu entsorgen, der zu Bruch gegangen war. Die Lage ist ausserhalb und ohne PKW kommt man nur schwer irgendwo hin. Für unsere Auflüge Richtung Scottish Lowlands und Besuche bei Freunden in Glasgow war es perfekt.

Bien placé pour le début du West Highland Way, grande chambre bien équipée avec thé/café. Lit très confortable, très bon petit déjeuner et parking gratuit. C'était parfait

A good location for the start of the West Highland Way. About a 15 minute walk from Hillfoot station and 15 minutes to the start of the WHW. Good breakfast and friendly service. My room was basic but had everything I needed. It was just a bit stuffy and smelled of sweat when I arrived. It may need some updating/airing/air freshener. It was also quite hot but the fan that was provided helped.

Very tired internally . Staff were lovely and the breakfast chefs were great . Didn't know you had to tell reception if you wanted your room cleaned . Apparently hanging please refresh rooms doesn't count . Which makes you wonder why it's on the door hanger . Room was tired, one chair to sit in unless you also wanted to watch telly on the desk chair . Bit silly as there was more than ample space to put another in . Skirting boards and walls really bashed. Corridor carpets didn't appear to have been hoovered when we were there . Breakfast room is very small . I think we counted it could hold 39 people and it would be squashed if everyone was in at the sane time . Nice location , but needs spruced up without a doubt .
