Aberdeen Airport (Dyce) Hotel

Etwas ungewohnte Hotelregeln (bedingt durch Corona), aber daran müssen wir uns wahrscheinlich gewöhnen. Lage direkt am Flughafen, ist aber nicht besonders laut. Frühstücksbuffet gibts im Moment nicht, aber Bestellung nach Karte. Leider gibt es draussen direkt am Hotel keine Sitzmöglichkeiten o.ä., drinnen darf man sich auch nicht zusammen setzen um mal etwas zu quatschen.

Pretty shameful that an automated parking system allows the sale of more parking than there is stalls. Tonight the police attended the hotel which was full due to cars parked up on the grass and pavements, in my case I paid for multiple nights parking yesterday so it’s not like I could just refuse to pay the fee, and since all that you’re faced with is an iPad and a QR code for customer service nobody’s giving you your money back. The police were unimpressed and while they did their best to scold the hotel staff - it’s certainly not their fault. If you’re going to sell more spots than there are physical spaces - you should be responsible for the fines. I’m unimpressed and the police were unimpressed. At £11 a night and having prepaid for multiple nights parking to end up being scolded by the police for pavement parking - not a good experience - thankfully myself and the 6 or so other people with cars with nowhere to go were all in the lobby and saw the police out front writing their tickets. The hotel needs to address this. There are 60 standard parking spots for staff and guests. There are 100 rooms in the hotel. The math ain’t mathing… I can appreciate a disclaimer that parking is not guaranteed. However if I pull in and successfully park and am faced with an iPad taking my money for a multiple nights parking- your disclaimer becomes null and void as you’ve accepted the contract to provide the parking.l for the duration of the stay. I have stayed here multiple times on my business trips to Aberdeen, however will be looking elsewhere from now on as confrontations with police is not something I’m willing to entertain in the future.

Another great stay at this hotel. It’s a clean hotel with comfy bed. Self check in works well and you print your own key card. Parking outside and it’s walking distance to air park parking. Nice bar area and reasonably priced drinks and cocktails.

Great hotel. All very fresh and clean. The meal deal was very good value for money and a special shout out to Marcellia (?) who was amazing with our children. Would definitely return.

This was a very good stay here there were very nice staff and some comfy beds and a coffee station! The only downside is it’s not very clean it’s quite dirty, so I wouldn’t recommend it to people who don’t like dirty hotels.
