Worcester (M5,Jct6) Hotel

Das Premier Inn liegt direkt an der M5 und ist deshalb recht gut verkehrstechnisch angebunden. Das gilt jedoch nur für Autofahrer, denn der Bahnhof liegt weiter entfernt und auch zum Airport benötigt man eine gute Stunde. Das Hotel selbst ist ein zweigeschossiges Gebäude, das wenig Drumherum bietet, aber einfach funktional ist. Die Zimmer sind recht großzügig geschnitten. Die Betten durchaus beschlafbar und sauber ist es auch. Gleich gegenüber befindet sich ein Pub, den man abends besuchen kann und in dem es morgens auch das Frühstück gibt.

Stayed at the hotel for two nights. Outside was a building site! however staff were friendly and had pre typed a local list of places where we could buy some food and a drink. No facilities available at Premier inn during our stay. The bigger problem was the heavy handed imposed fines from Horizon parking. Premier inn advertise free parking. We filled out our car registration and that we were staying two nights. I have since received not one but two separate parking fines. Each at £95 (total of £190) being higher than the cost of the hotel stay! Disgusted by the attack from Horizon parking. I have raised formal complaint and am led to believe all will now be well. Be careful when staying at this hotel. It is very much self service with hours now spent clearing the inaccurate penalties that were levied. Just to park my car in the free parking!

I stay at this hotel on a regular basis. I have always found the staff to be kind and helpful. There is building work going on there at the moment so the car park can be quite full but I have always got a parking spot. Parking has to be booked in on the tablet by the reception desk. My room was clean and comfortable, as always. I have always found this to be a good hotel.

Visiting for the Malvern show, lovely welcome from the two ladies on reception. Rooms are still nice and clean. However, a lick of paint on the outside of the building would make it look a bit better. Due to the renovation work on the pub that they have pulled down and are going to build a new one, we had a bacon and sausage sandwich before leaving for home from the portable van, the skin on the sausage was far too thick that i felt sick eating it. You need to change to a sausage with natural hog casings, not that collagen stuff.

We booked a family room but were given a standard double room into which they had also squeezed a single bed and something akin to a toddler bed for my 8yo child. When he lay down to sleep, his head hit the sharp edge of the bedside table he’d been wedged against in place of a headboard and cut his head open. The staff on reception were useless, had no training (or sympathy) or first aid kit, so I had to do the best I could with toilet paper and eyewash (the only thing they gave me). The “Manager” Jake Davis said the above was nothing to do with him and consequently avoided all emails and telephone calls when I was asking for a refund. Additionally, although we gave our registration on arrival, I received two parking fines for the time I stayed because there was an error by the staff, which I then had to spend time and effort getting cancelled. The hotel itself was dirty and tired with the worst breakfast I’ve ever had at a Premier Inn. Terrible room in a terrible hotel with terrible staff. Stay ANYWHERE else if you can.
