Gatwick Crawley Town West Hotel

Grad wenn man immer mal woanders in England ist und immer nur für kurze Zeit dann sind die Premier Inn Hotels echt hilfreich. Man weiß was man bekommt und wird nicht enttäuscht. Das WLAN ist auch in der Gratis-Variante schnell genug für den alltäglichen Bedarf und das Frühstück ist hervorragend. So auch in diesem Hotel. Nettes Personal, gutes Essen, sehr gutes Bett, großer Fernseher mit der Anschlussmöglichkeit für den Laptop per HDMI usw. ... Gerne wieder!!!

Arrived after a very long day of travelling, husband currently on crutches due to a recent accident and operation, we had his orthopaedic review 9am the next morning in Haywards Heath, both tired from the heat and travelling.. we booked premier because you can normally rely on a clean room and comfortable bed Gosh we were very sadly wrong, our room was like an oven all night, fan just blowing around hot air (they have fixed this now, apparently aircon was going in on the 1st July) Not the most friendliest of welcomes, very is was it is and direct, no empathy for the heat, or my husband on crutches.. no sense of welcoming Then when we arrived at our room, it was disgustingly dirty, the fan was full of dirt/fluff, all around the headboard dust and dirt. Something had been spilt beside the bed and left, the sofa had a layer of dirty/dust and bathroom needed attention I said to my husband if he was fully able right now I wouldn’t think twice about leaving this hotel right now. But he isn’t and he was in pain.. The bed was clean so I personally cleaned the fan, and the surrendering of the bed so I could sleep and feel comfortable enough to touch things My husband suggested getting a drink so we could get out the room for a bit, but the bar was just as disgusting, the chairs were filthy!!! I did think about raising the condition of my room with reception, but I was extremely tired and really didn’t feel the people working there that night would care or would do anything about it.. so it was just upset me further. Looking at the halls and bar the whole hotel was like our room, and the staff also looked totally fed up When leaving the next morning I asked to talk to someone about my room and who to feed it back to, i also noticed a no sleep guarantee so I asked about that to and had been such a awful night and barely any sleep A chap said he couldn’t do anything and would feed back our concerns, he gave me a card with the wrong email address on so my husband phoned, they didn’t want to see the photos. He’s just received the response saying no and tough luck, should of raised the concern on the night, which we would of done if we felt we would of been listened to 🤷🏼‍♀️ really poor experience, certainly put a bad taste in our mouth of using premier inn again So sharing with you guys as don’t want you having the experience we did

My partner and i stayed for one night, prior to flying from Gatwick. The hotel location is very good for the airport, at about 15 minute drive and much cheaper than staying at a Gatwick Premier Inn. The gentleman who greeted us was very pleasant and advised us we would have a room at the back away from the noisy road outside. However, when we got to the room, we were in a road facing room. To be fair, we could have asked for a change, but after a four hour drive, we didn't want to move. That was a big mistake. The road was very noisy most of the night, even with the double glazed windows. Also, it was a very hot day, so the room was boiling. Again, we we were aware the rooms weren't air-conditioned and a fan is provided, but you're basically moving hot air around. Needless to say, we had a very poor night's sleep. We did use the meal deal for dinner and breakfast and both meals were very good. The staff are excellent, but when booking/checking-in. ask for a room away from the road.

Avoid, aircon broken and a substandard fan available, to hot to sleep, terrible nights sleep before a long flight, no pre-warning

We stayed here before flying from Gatwick. It’s a bit further away but in my opinion, worth the few minutes in the car. It’s quiet and free parking. In the morning as it was quiet the kitchen did breakfast to order which meant it was fresher than the usual buffet style. Takes about 9-12 easy drive in the morning to the airport
