"Avoid booking here, poor restaurant and tired rooms"
Really tired looking hotel, the rooms are in need of an upgrade!
The restaurant was awful, dirty glasses, really basic food, does not live up to how it looks/sounds on the menu. The premier inn Menus are becoming a thing now and they are really poor quality of food! The restaurant floor was awful, sticky & dirty and felt like i needed to shower after i had been sitting in the restaurant.
The staff were lovely and friendly, but the restaurant needs to close down!

"Awful…avoid at all costs!"
Good location, however, that’s where it ends. Rooms outdated, poor decor, dirty bathroom and no air conditioning. We stayed in October and the room was 24°c. Reception staff not welcoming. Breakfast in the adjoining Beefeater was mixed. The actual food and young lady serving was lovely. However, the building and decor rates as utterly disgusting….sticky floors, sticky tables and worn out seats. Premier Inn should be ashamed! I will be writing direct to them.

Based on this experience we will now entirely avoid Premier Inn. It used to be an excellent mix of quality and price and this was neither

"Disappointing"
Had 2 rooms
Tired and dated - desperately needs an upgrade and most certainly a paint outside
Room was warm despite it being Sept so can imagine the summer is very hot
Bathroom smelt a little damp
Clean and as you’d expect from a PI with a very comfortable bed.
We often stay in PI - and have experienced some lovely ones - unfortunately this wasn’t one of them !
The beefeater has closed and only open for pre booked breakfast - which we then decided to skip as it looked very tired and uninviting.
The hotel has often looked nice from a brief view on the main road - wish I’d taken a drive upto the carpark though before booking.
The receptionist was very friendly and helpful - would rate her service and attitude highly

"A place on its last legs"
Very sad to see the whole place neglected and obviously on its last legs. Extremely shabby throughout. On the plus side the staff were friendly and doing their best and the food was just about ok. We paid a big premium price (over £200 per night) due to a nearby Goodwood event so it was poor value for money. Very much 'any port in a storm'.
