"Premier - nothing premier about this hotel it’s awful"
Absolutely Shocking Experience – Never Again
I am extremely disappointed with my stay at Premier Inn Wolverhampton. This was genuinely one of the worst hotel experiences I have had.
At 23:35 on 8 August 2026, children were repeatedly running up and down the corridors, going from room to room and making an unacceptable amount of noise. When this was raised with staff, they were completely unhelpful. They appeared either unable or unwilling to address the situation or ask the guests responsible to show some consideration for everyone else trying to sleep.
What exactly are paying guests supposed to do? Accept children running around hotel corridors approaching midnight while staff simply stand by and do nothing?
The room itself was reasonably tidy, but the bathroom was another matter. It was untidy and had an unpleasant smell, which only added to an already poor experience.
I understand that hotel staff cannot control every guest’s behaviour, but they absolutely can respond appropriately when unacceptable behaviour is reported. There seemed to be no meaningful attempt to manage the situation, no reassurance and no concern for the people whose stay was being ruined.
Completely shocking customer service and an awful night’s stay.
I have used Premier Inn expecting a basic but comfortable and professionally managed hotel. After this experience, I have absolutely no confidence in that whatsoever.
I will not be using Premier Inn again. Frankly, after this experience, I’d rather sleep on the streets than pay to stay here again.
1 star, and even that feels generous.

"Better; almost back to PI standard"
Ive always relied on this group since they were Travel Inn then, about 30(?) years ago, changed to PI as people confused them with the notoriously bad Travel Lodge.
As the adverts implies, always the same format; comfortable bed with restaurant nearby (although I've read a lot are going).
Every year , I've journeyed 4 hours to watch Wolves and always had a good experience. Until 3 years ago.
Baking hot room (windows are screwed shut), found (in the morning) shower was broken and TV didnt work. Also , worst restaurant service in some time
Bear in mind, within easy reach of the centre, there's only one other hotel to consider (or is safe - read the story about the employee at Park Hotel). So thats were I went last 2 years -Novotel, not Park.
Until now, when I read the magic words on the PI web - "air con." Given the other faults couldn't possibly re-occur, gave it another go.
Room was comfortable as ever and, yes, there was air con, but it would only go down to 19C. For me, just about OK, but I imagine some bean-counter in Head Office working out each 1C drop costing £xxxxxxx.
That sorted, went next door to the Bluebrick , where it took an age to get seated, ordered and served because, for the whole restaurant/bar , there was one poor harassed looking lady trying to do everything. Luckily, the place was only about a quarter full (or was that why management left her on her own?).
Pasta came and was stone cold. I thought that if I sent it back , it would return past it's sell-by date.
Breakfast deal at £13 (you get everything) was value and the coffee was good (but only one machine and slow).
One fault with my room , which I discovered when I came back from the match - the door wouldn't self close properly, it needed an extra tug when in the frame. Concerning for those more vulnerable.
So, I'd give it 3.5 , but uprated to 4 for the (mostly) nice experience: good price, air con, breakfast deal.

"Great stay"
Lovely hotel, easy to find etc. Ingrida on reception was lovely and extremely helpful. The food was incredible cooked by Ash.
