Coventry South (A45) Hotel

Das Personal war bisher immer überaus freundlich. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen Die Zimmer sind angenehm groß und die Betten in einem sehr guten Zustand. Bisher konnte ich noch keine Mängel bei der Sauberkeit finden. Obwohl das Inn an einer belebten Hauptstraße liegt ist es sehr ruhig. Das Free-WiFi reicht teilweise für das Streamen von Filmen. Mit dem Kostenpflichtigen Ultimate-WiFi geht dann natürlich alles. Das Frühstück ist halt einfach ... englisch. :-) Immer zu empfehlen ist auch das Steakhaus nebenan "Miller & Carters". Eine Reservierung ist durchaus angebracht, da das Restaurant immer sehr gut gefüllt ist.

Wir besuchten dieses Hotel auf unserer Rückreise aus Schottland. Wie eigentlich bisher immer erwies sich auch dieses Premier Inn als gute Wahl für unseren Zwischenstop. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und ruhig, so dass wir wirklich gut geschlafen haben. Hervorheben möchte ich auch hier wieder das äußerst freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal. Das ist in einem Budget Hotel nicht unbedingt selbstverständlich. Absolut empfehlenswert !

A well located hotel, clean, comfortable room. the breakfast was excellent and staff were very friendly - highly recommended.

When we went down the following morning for breakfast, the duty manager 'Natalie' asked my wife and I if we had any allergies to which I replied no and my wife replied yes Truffle oil. Natalie then insisted my wife read a grubby file containing standard warnings etc more specific to the people with severe allergic reactions to possible ingredients. My wife declined to do this as she is not allergic as such and has an intolerance to the above, my wife asked for porridge and that unless it was spritzed with truffle oil she would be perfectly fine. You manager then proceeded to take food orders from other guests after several minutes I got up and asked if i could order my breakfast, your manager refused, saying that unless my wife read the grubby information she would not take a food order from myself or my wife. I found this a completely unacceptable and I asked my wife to read the booklet but by this point id had enough and told your manager I would not be having any breakfast I asked to see the duty manager, she told me that she was the manager and I asked for her name and she told me its was Natalie. I then left to return to our room. Natalie then proceeded to in all intense and purposes to stand over my wife while she read the file, some minutes later my wife was offered a bowl of porridge but having been embarrassed and upset by your managers demeanour and behaviour she decide to leave without eating it. Upon checking out of your hotel Natalie said to my wife "would you like me to refund the breakfast, my wife said that would be good and left to join me at the car. At some points in this debacle your manager was very passive aggressive to my wife in particular which is not acceptable. What your manager lost site of is that some people have other issues such as being diabetic, which is unfortunately the case with myself so missing breakfast altogether is not conducive to my health but this didnt matter to your manager as she was trained that guests must read the leaflet

Second stay here whilst visiting family! This has to be one of my favourite Premier Inns. Rooms are always spotlessly clean. Check in friendly and welcoming. We had a great sleep and warm shower in the morning. Breakfast 5*! Warmly greeted and asked if any allergies in our group. My son has a peanut and sesame seed allergy. Our table was cleaned again and fresh cutlery/plates/cups etc brought out. We went through allergy menu to find out what was suitable. Continental was help yourself and hot was cooked to order. Absolutely delish, hot and well cooked! A huge thank you to the team! I tried so hard to remember everyone's names, Sophia and Natalie? I am so sorry but you know who you are! Will definitely return!
