Camberley Hotel

Nous séjournions chez des amis juste à côté de l’hôtel, et ils nous ont recommandé de venir y prendre le petit-déjeuner. Ce fut une très belle découverte. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l’atmosphère chaleureuse du lieu ainsi que la gentillesse et le sens de l’accueil du personnel. Un merci tout particulier à Oksana, à la réception, qui nous a informés avec beaucoup de gentillesse que le petit-déjeuner était offert pour les enfants — une attention très appréciée. La personne en charge du petit-déjeuner était elle aussi très aimable et accueillante. Nous avons passé un excellent moment et gardons un très bon souvenir de cette visite.

I have been using this hotel for many years and its my first choice when needing a place to stay, this time I was met at reception by Chris who was very welcoming, and obviously extremely customer focused, he helped me check in, with a smile, and said if there was anything else I needed, to contact him and he would help, so i felt relaxed as soon as i arrived, the room as usual was clean and comfortable, he also arranged breakfast which was very welcome. One of the other stars of the hotel is their breakfast, its got everything you would need, a fry up, cereal, toast, fruit, yoghurt, the list goes on, the other star is Sue (the chef), her musthrooms are to die for, I hate mushrooms stewed in water or canned, Sue has mastered the art of cooking fresh mushrooms properley baked with a touch of oil....wonderful, she also recognized me, and greated me like a long lost friend, I can tell if she is the chef for breakfast by her mushrooms, a very friendly lady and a really capable chef. Thanks to Chris, Sue and the rest of the staff at the branch of Premier Inn on Park Street, Camberley and I would highly recommend them and this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Camberley.

We specifically booked the Premier Inn Camberley for the air conditioning, and during our stay, it was clear the hotel was having issues with the aircon in a handful of rooms. We heard a few customers complaining—and honestly, rightly so! If we had been the ones in those rooms, this would be a completely different review. ​However, while the air conditioning was the original reason we booked, the staff are now the absolute reason we will return. ​I have managed a number of branded and privately owned venues over the years, so I know what true excellence looks like in hospitality—and the team here is simply too good for a chain hotel. They are extraordinary. ​A massive shoutout to Chris, the Manager. His ability to professionally de-escalate and handle upset customers regarding the aircon while seamlessly switching communication styles to deliver warm, exceptional service to everyone else was brilliant to watch. That takes serious skill. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and he consistently checked in on us to make sure our stay was going smoothly. ​Down at breakfast, Gemma and Sue are exactly the kind of people you want to greet you first thing in the morning—bubbly, sharp, and totally on the ball. Even though Sue works back-of-house, her front-of-house customer skills are outstanding. My two boys loved her so much they’re already asking when we can go back to see her! ​One quick fix for management: Please replace the breakfast toaster! It takes an absolute age to do anything and is definitely not fit for purpose. ​Beyond the toaster and the handful of rooms with aircon glitches, this hotel’s true asset is its people. Equipment can be fixed, but world-class customer service like this is rare. Well done to Chris and the entire team—we had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back soon!

It was great value, particularly when you factored in the meal deals for breakfast and dinner. At this price point, it certainly exceeds expectations. The staff were all smiling and happy to help. Particular credit should be given to the manager, Chris, who seemed to be doing everything and was committed to ensuring everyone had a great stay.

Outstanding! From check in to the evening meal, Jhaick was super helpful and friendly, big smile on her face the whole time we were staying! A massive asset to premier inn!
