Ipswich South Hotel

We always have a very pleasant stay here. The room is clean and comfortable and the staff are always super nice. The location is also very nice with the Marina opposite.

The worst experience of our many stays with Premier inns over several years. Whilst the service was good , the room clean, the overall impression is a shabby premises on its last legs , in severe need of refurbishing. We stayed for two nights for £346. It certainly represented poor value for money. During the afternoon we were unable to get any rest due to diggers and workers playing loud music outside. The window was covered in cobwebs unlike the reception window which was clean. The former Beefeater restaurant breakfast was inedible so after asking for and getting a full refund we eat lovely bacon rolls and coffee at the workers roadside on the bridge nearby. All in all I would advise , beware of inflated last minute prices, from a company that doesn’t seem to hold customer satisfaction very highly, as the response from customer services does not seem to understand their primary task of looking after their customers.

From check-in to check-out I’ve had a perfect stay. The staff was wonderful, clean room with marina view and tasty food in next door restaurant. Would recommended to stay here while in Ipswich.

Very comfortable stay, very friendly staff

Location is lovely .room was noisy from people above and running up and down corridor. Says children friendly, big open grass area with broken tables that could have an outdoor play area . Shame that whitebread sold the restaurant as the food was poor
