Ipswich (Chantry Park) Hotel

Wir haben gerade drei exzellente Nächte in diesem Hotel verbracht. Wir hatten ein Spezialangebot von 39 Pfund/Nacht bekommen und hätten für ein Hotel mit geringerem Standard viel mehr bezahlt. Makellos sauber, tolles Frühstück und sehr freundliches und hilfsbreites Personal. Das „Beagle“ nebenan hat mit einer abwechslungsreichen Speisekarte und exzellentem Essen auch zum Gelingen des Wochenendes beigetragen. Vielen Dank an alle!

Dieses ist ein tolles kleines Hotel, schön und sauber mit schön großen Zimmern in einer praktischen Lage. Die Einrichtung war zweckmäßig und hell. Schönes Pub gleich nebenan. Das Personal war wirklich nett, sehr gesprächig und hilfsbereit. Das Internet war einfach zu nutzen und verlässlich, wenn auch ein wenig langsam. Aber man bekam hier viel mehr als in Hotels der gleichen Preisklasse, man sollte sich also nicht beschweren. Nicht so toll war nur das Frühstück. Der Essbereich war völlig unangemessen für ein Hotel dieser Größe, man musste also so freundlich sein und einen Tisch teilen. Die Auswahl an Gerichten war auch nicht so reichhaltig wie ich es gewohnt bin. Es gab eigentlich nur Zerealien, Toast oder Gepäck, aber nur wenn man früh genug dort war (war ich nicht!) und es noch etwas gab. Wäre diese Sache nicht gewesen, das Hotel hätte von mir 5 von 5 Punkten bekommen. Ich werde trotzdem nächstes mal DEFENITIV wieder in dieses Hotel gehen, zum Frühstück aber einen Tesco-Supermarkt (5 Min. mit dem Auto) aufsuchen!!!

We really enjoyed our stay, especially the warm welcome and all of the very friendly staff (cleaning, at breakfast, reception etc).

This Premier Inn is very welcoming. It feels small and relaxed, in a quiet setting in the countryside but next to a pub serving lunches and suppers. The beds are ultra comfortable and the breakfasts really nice.

The staff at Chantry Park (Ipswich) Premier Inn were all very polite and respectful. The room was clean and comfortable, as you would expect. Unfortunately, the cooked breakfast was awful! We were told that it was "cooked to order" at check-in, but we had no idea that we would be waiting over 1 hour between ordering and having the breakfast served! My 2-year-old found this very distressing and after 40 mins of waiting, got extremely restless. He only wanted bacon and scrambled egg! The staff were getting a lot of verbal complaints regarding wait-times, orders being incorrect and food being tepid or cold when served. The staff remained so polite but were clearly extremely stressed. They did so well. Just a huge shame the company don't recognise the problem. Do not pay for the cooked breakfast. If you want a cooked breakfast, go to a different Premier Inn. Really ruined the stay and put us (and many others) at risk of staying past the 12noon checkout time.
