Stoke-on-Trent (Hanley) Hotel

Stayed here in late August, in a Premier plus room. First room was filthy so we were moved to another room which on closer inspection also turned out to be filthy, shower leaked all over the bathroom floor, stains on walls and carpet, the bed wasn’t clean, the room hadn’t been cleaned properly for months and there was a musty smell. The windows are sealed shut so you can’t get any fresh air although the room did have air con. The corridors were filthy with broken glass on the carpet and the general feel of the hotel was tired and dirty. Called customers services when we got home and they weren’t interested. I will ever stay in a Premier Inn again.

Good location, plenty of parking. Hotel is a bit grotty in places, but ok for one night. Lots of other shops/restaurants nearby. Breakfast is not great with dirty cutlery and undercooked veggie sausages

Lovely room, excellent staff. Stayed whilst visiting Alton Towers. Staff are very friendly. We didn't like the evening meal menu, so ate at a place called Bridley farm which was just 5 minutes from the hotel. Overall a wonderful stay.

As always with Premier Inn the rooms are very clean and comfortable which is why I always use them. We had a nice room in a quiet block. This was a nice Premier Inn with plenty of amenities surrounding it. However check in was at 3pm but room was not ready at 5pm and I paid a supplement for a Twin Room because myself and my adult daughter were sharing but they gave us a double room!!

Disappointed. Overall cleanliness poor in both rooms and public areas. And in the restaurant, pub attached..Tired looking and needed deep cleaning!! Very disappointed that after a Request for room to be serviced, sign out and verbal requests AND speaking with 3 staff members, that we returned at night to find nothing had been done or replenishd!!!! My request included reporting the broken hairdryer in the room 324.... I let that one go as I had brought my own!! Good job as we were going to a wedding. Very mediocre in the restaurant.. poor cleanliness. Poor service, sooooo slow even on a busy Saturday night... They said they were being taken over.. closing the restaurant in the day time from the day we left... But it clearly showed staff were certainly apathetic... Overall very disappointed especially having stayed at several Premier Inn...
