Rugeley Hotel

150 GPB for 8 timers søvn på et 3 stjernet motorvejshotel. det er direkte tyveri ved højlys dag. uforskammet. det første man bliver mødt med er et gaypride flag og et kæmpe skilt at ikke inklusiv adfærd tolereres ikke, det har man bare ikke lyst til at tage stilling til efter en lang dag på landevejen. kedelig restaurant og dårlig underbemandet betjening. ALDRIG.. mere Premier inn kæde. !!!

The hotel itself was exactly what you would expect from a Premier Inn. The room was perfectly serviceable. The bed was comfortable enough, the staff were helpful and I had no complaints about the cleanliness. It does what it says on the tin, as the saying goes. The missing star is for the breakfast experience. Breakfast is served in the pub right next door. Staff were welcoming but there weren’t enough of them, so they looked overwhelmed. Despite the fact that we had booked a table, the table hadn’t been cleaned, so wasn’t ready. We grabbed coffees while we waited for this to be done, which it was. However the floor was still littered with food, which was a bit ick. There were other tables we could have been given, but we couldn’t be bothered to make a fuss. The chairs were really hard and the upholstery was worn and very tired-looking. The floor in the food area was very sticky and we had to wait at the breakfast buffet for a good 10 minutes for it to be replenished with pretty much everything. The breakfast itself was fine when it finally appeared but the experience was not up to the standard I have experienced from this chain before. Basically the place needs some TLC and an extra staff member. All in all though, we were happy enough with our stay.

Following an accident with our home we have stayed here for a month as a family of four whilst waiting on a temporary house whilst ours was being repaired. The staff have all been amazing and we’ve had some laughs and they all went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome it’s like we are now part of an extended family. Nothing was to much trouble. Both my children had there birthdays here and whilst it was not our home the staff also made sure that they had a good birthday and gave them a card wished them happy birthday and even gave them a treat of a bag of sweets and some biscuits. Honestly they are a great team and help each other out and deliver a great service to guests.

Great place staff are so friendly and are more than happy to help no matter what you need especially Angela always give a warm welcome and is very polite..I'd be more than happy to stay here again, rooms are cleaned daily and the beds are comfortable,great when you've had a long day walking round.

Was very unsure about our stay at Rugeley as the hotel had mentioned that they were undergoing building work, but I needn't have worried as we had a lovely stay. The reception team were upbeat and welcoming asking whether we would like a dinner or breakfast booking. We had neither so can't comment on the restaurant. The room itself was lovely and clean and some kind member of staff had kept the AC on and the room was lovely and cool when we arrived and as we were there on a very hot weekend it was very much appreciated! We will definitely return to this hotel simply for it's level of service anytime we visit the area. Thank you team Rugeley for a lovely stay.
