Burton On Trent East Hotel

A pleasant greeting from Michelle and Alex at the front desk, who was able to accommodate me and provided customer service that went above and beyond. The room was clean and cosy and bed was comfortable. I would definitely book again

I have stayed at this hotel a few times and this is the second time I have been accommodated in the summer months. The stay was unpleasant in the heat, no aircon, the fans blow out hot air around the room, the water was lukewarm warm even after running for some minutes, so no cool water to drink. I used a sheet that the reception team provided, this was about as cool as I could get. Premier Inn please take note, the summer months getting warmer and no air-conditioning, not just me but older people need to be accommodated also,

Premier it isn’t. It looks like it closed 5 years ago. Pealing paint, overgrown garden and parking area. Broken garden furniture, Hospitality was short, surly staff and you certainly got the message that you were an inconvenience and lucky to get anything. To the point of it almost being funny. However, the good news . Breakfast service was good and well presented.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Premier Inn, Bretby. The staff were very friendly and welcoming as always. The room was clean and tidy. The service in the restaurant was also very good and the breakfast and meal were very tasty. Excellent value for money. I look forward to my next stay.

On seeing the outside of the hotel I was a little worried. But it literally only needs a lick of paint. This does not reflect the inside of the hotel which was clean throughout. The staff were welcoming and friendly. They were all helpful including the pub attached next door which is part of the hotel. They were all nice too and the breakfast is an ordered style one so everything came out nice and hot and it wa lovely. We had an evening meal and this was nice too plus drink prices were reasonable. The room had everything we needed. Would have liked a bigger screen but this can not be reflected on our stay as it was good. The room was warm and did have a couple of fans one with a heater function just in case but it was all good. There was no noise and the bed was comfy. There is plenty of parking. We actually put the car on the one across the road and it was fine the next day. We would stay here again and recommend it to others. We went here to visit the alpacas farm and walk with the donkies just up the road so it is convenient.
