Taunton Central (North) Hotel

great stay again here the hotel is such a lovely one and the staff are so helpful and nothing is to much trouble. Katie check us in for our stay and then was servicing in the restaurant for evening meals very good at making sure everything was ok.

Met friends and we stayed at this small but really nice hotel. Bit dated out the front, but really lovely restaurant, clean rooms and super friendly staff. Abbie served us at dinner which was a steal at the price.

I really enjoyed my stay, the food was amazing and scrumptious. Lucy at breakfast was so lovely and friendly, this made my day

Went as a weekend break away. Got here early and Deb checked us in early, without a charge. We were really pleased as it saved us hanging around to check in. The water and biscuits were a nice little touch also. We had breakfast that was plentiful and really nice.

⭐ 1 star I wish I had read the reviews before booking this hotel. Unfortunately, I had a very poor experience. The room was excessively hot and there was a constant buzzing/mechanical noise throughout the night, making it impossible to sleep. I eventually had to leave very early in the morning after being awake all night. I contacted Premier Inn afterwards to explain what had happened. While they acknowledged the issues I experienced, they refused to offer any refund or compensation because I hadn’t reported the problem during the night. I understand that they would have preferred me to report it at the time, but when you’re exhausted in the middle of the night, that isn’t always realistic. What has disappointed me most is the lack of any meaningful resolution or goodwill. Based on my experience, I would think twice before booking this hotel.
