Chipping Norton Hotel

Ho soggiornato in questo albergo per due notti durante un viaggio di lavoro. Le camere non sono molto grandi ma sono particolarrmente pulite. Il personale è stato molto gentile e preparato e si sono resi disponibili a soddisfare anche la più piccola richiesta. Consigliato!

The staff were extremely helpful but it went downhill after that. The express check in wasn’t working, the restaurant was closed, our duvet cover was badly marked and when we took it off, as it was too hot for a duvet, the duvet was covered in horrible large stains, there were marks on the small towel and the curtain was hanging off at one end. There was only one bath towel and one hand towel

Just home from a 3 night stay We arrived at the restaurant every morning just before 9:00am and were surprised to see only two members of staff on duty, including the cook. While I understand staffing shortages can occur, this did seem inadequate for what is a busy summer holiday period. Despite the staff doing their best under the circumstances, there were a number of issues that impacted the experience: Clean plates were not available and we had to wait an age There was no fresh milk available for cereal. No bacon was available, and we were told there would be a wait 8 minutes which seemed a long time. When I asked about black pudding, I was informed it would be a further 6 minutes. The cook was quiet rude after he overheard my conversation to another guest I was saying the breakfast would be good if you was a vegetarian as no meat cooked, he said oh my god, which I ignored, no apologise for having no food cooked off. He is also very OCD and temperamental regarding having all his utensils lined up on the empty trays. Due to time constraints with our plans for the day, we ended up making do with sausage, beans, and hash browns.I want to add that the food we did receive was tasty. However, the lack of efficiency and planning seemed poor availability during a peak breakfast period. On the whole it did dampen the stay, not the standards we have come to expect from Premier inn. No restaurant available No bar available Only available vending machine broken No cooked breakfast available Only 1 set of towels in a double room booked for 2 adults. Lack of working light in bathroom and no staff available to escalate to. Poor level of cleaning, someone else's hair visible in bathtub. Do I need to go on?

Man on reception was lovely! Very helpful and very informative. Hotel was clean tidy and in a fantastic location to visit clarksons farm! Parking was right outside .
