Worksop Hotel

Chell on reception was extremely helpful and friendly.

Arrived early so went to the restuarant. Tables could have done with a clean, stichy from spilt beer but apart from that atmosphere was cheerful staff helpful food was what one would ecpect from Beefeater. Room was very spacious, clean, bed vey comfortable. Very quiet.

Superb stay. I have to be honest, I was expecting the usual decent stay from a Premier Inn but these guys went above and beyond. We were attending the Vegan Camp Out festival nearby (went for a nice comfy bed and loo though lol). We opted for a family room, I have a very tall 15 year old son and a 13 year old daughter, plus husband. Check in was smooth done on the flatscreen, we got to our room and there was a note welcoming us, saying if we're going to the VCO have a great time and some vegan biscuits! Well we were made up, that never happens when we go away and stay anywhere. Really nice touch, thank you whoever did that there. The beds were super comfy, the rooms were lovely and cool, I slept 8 hrs each night...better than home. Then breakfasts in the morning, excellent. Plenty of vegan sausages and bacon, plus the other bits and there was porridge too. Soy milk AND oat milk. The staff were super helpful in the restaurant area. We had a wonderful weekend at the camp out and our stay here was excellent too. Those biscuits may seem bizarre to some people but honestly, it was such a lovely touch.

Never normally write reviews but felt on this occasion it was worth the effort! I travelled to Ryton View solo for a friends wedding in the area. I was able to check in early which was charged but worth the money for the ease and less stress before a wedding! Parking was easy and able to be validated at the desk by the friendly reception staff, including for an extra day (in case I was late leaving by a few minutes as checkout was noon and parking lasted until noon the following day). The room was ready for my early check in and absolutely lovely and very clean and the staff had even gone so far as to leave some gifts as it was national relaxation day on the day of my visit which was so unexpected and genuinely such a wonderful surprise and treat that made my visit extra special (thank you Faye and Caitlin!)! I’d booked a breakfast for one person for the next morning and realised some other guests of the wedding were also staying at the hotel solo and the staff made it possible for us to all sit together as a table of 3 with a small child in a high chair as if it was no issue at all rearranging 2 solo bookings and another who hadn’t booked breakfast at all amongst the breakfast rush. The breakfast staff were friendly and chatty and very attentive, clearing plates etc. quickly. Overall, I was so pleasantly surprised by the attentiveness of each staff member and genuine care they showed us, especially visiting solo, and will definitely be booking to stay here again if I’m ever in need of a nights stay in the area again! Thank you so much to all the staff and I hope their hard work doesn’t go unnoticed.

Second visit to this hotel with my children while visiting friends. Staff are always so friendly and helpful. The hotel is always so clean and the rooms are perfect. Well equipped and comfortable. We had breakfast both mornings and well stocked. Great selection. My son had an accident in our room where he trapped his finger in the bathroom door and the staff were quick to help and calm both my son and myself down. We will definitely return. Thank you to all.
