Grantham Hotel

Das Premier Inn hier ist erwartet einfach, aber angenehm sauber und ordentlich ausgestattet, netter Empfang - solide. Nebenan gäbe es einen Pub, ansonsten ist man abseits - zu weit für einen Spaziergang zum Abendesse. Das alles ist gut, leider jedoch ist der Internetzugang so schlecht, dass man von der Nutzung des WLAN nicht wirklich reden kann….zumindest wenn man nicht für die Option „Executive WLAN“ kauft….ärgerlich, insbesondere, wenn man hier geschäftlich ist und arbeiten will. Daher die Abzüge.

Für den Preis ist es OK, wer jedoch etwas persönliches mit Charme sucht ist hier definitiv verkehrt untergekommen. Das Hotel ist sauber, die Zimmer sind geräumig aber ohne jeden "Wohlfühlfaktor". Hinlegen und Licht aus. Frühstück und Abendessen gibt es nebenan. Das war es.

We have stayed at the Grantham Premier Inn regularly over many years when visiting family in Grantham. Based on our recent experience we will be looking to book elsewhere in the future. Since the brewers fayre onsite has closed to non residents the whole site has a very scruffy appearance. Rooms also look tired and unkempt. The toilet paper dispenser in the bathroom was broken and we were just presented with the wadge of loose leaf paper which would normally be in the dispenser. Needless to say paper floated everywhere. Sorry Premier Inn - you’ve lost the plot.

Stayed at the hotel and unfortunately had a bit of a nightmare when another guest’s car, which had been left without the handbrake on, rolled into my car in the car park. However, Rachel on reception was absolutely fantastic and did everything she could to help resolve the situation. I genuinely couldn’t have asked for more. ❤️ The restaurant staff were also incredibly helpful, friendly and lovely, which really made a difference. Thank you for turning what could have been a really crap situation into a positive experience! And, of course, there was the added bonus of the best night’s sleep on a Premier Inn mattress! 😂 Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Poor hospitality wost place Do not go to this hotel as it is overpriced and they breach their contract of the good night sleep guarantee. Everything meal. We didn't pre book, but we went to eat at the restaurant where 15 people eating. The rest of restaurant was empty. We asked for a table of four and were told they may not be able to get us in. The problems started from there. Eventually they allowed us to eat ( great hospitality) not. The portion size left us all hungry. Portion size was more like a child's portion. Later I tried to get some sleep, but my room was above the main entrance automated door going all ngt. When complaining that I had no sleep. I was told hotel was full and given a email address to complain to. I was also told by reception that this was the last room they leave to book out. ( which means they know they have a problem with this room. We were told by reception breakfast was cooked and continental.. Cooked was very greasey parts of it cold. Continental was cakes and compot, no meats cheese. I sent my complaint of. I had no reply, so my wife phoned. Only to be told we had done everything wrong and there is no refund. I will never stay or recommend a Premier in again. And would advise others to find cheaper accommodation with hospitality. And better service.
