Ashby De La Zouch Hotel

Mittlerweile übernachteten wir zum 4. mal in diesem Hotel, und wir sind jedesmal freundlich aufgenommen worden, auch kurzfristige Anliegen wurden schnell und unbürokratisch gelöst, auch wenn es sich wie abgesprochen anhört, aber ich würde jederzeit immer wieder hier einchecken, denn da weiß ich/wir, was wir haben!

Well, your not staying at the Ritz so expectations need to be realistic, however, you do expect consistency and on this trip, that lacked! The staff are friendly enough, but please, take more care with the food!! Both for my evening meal and breakfast the restaurant was practically empty. My evening meal was fish and chips with the fish well and truly overcooked, but with the skin left on which was slimy. Not for me! The tea spoon of mushy pees was dryer than 100 year old flip flop left in the desert and the chips just about edible. Move to breakfast and its a sit down order, not buffet, unlike most premier inns. Again, i counted 6 people and heard the weighter say they just had 11 people all day. With that in mind, how did they manage to serve me a cold breakfast whilst missing the hash browns! ( especially as she asked if I wanted more than just one ) They didnt come back to see how it was, so it was easier to just eat quickly and leave. ( plus the coffee machine managed to serve a cold cappacino, hows that possible!! ) Going back to my arrival, the electric socket in my room was faulty and it kept going off, so I was moved to another room and in fairness, the receptionist was helpful. The rooms are very warm with little capcity to change, so will I stay here again for my next business trip? No, no I wont I will pay a little more for a greater experience.

Stayed here for work. Everyone was lovely and friendly room was as expected nice and clean. Carpark could do with some attention.

A very comfortable stay and a friendly welcome, as always. Room and bathroom clean. Car park and outside areas look a bit tatty.

I booked two rooms and both suited our needs exactly. The access friendly room was ideal and was spacious for my family member with mobility issues. I asked for a quiet room not facing the motorway and this was provided. The room was clean and comfortable. However the standout for this hotel is its staff. Both Zach and Nicola went above and beyond in helping me with my family at breakfast. The breakfast was freshly prepared and good quality. I would definitely stay again.
