Blackpool (Beach) Hotel

Wir waren vom 04 Sept. bis 06 Sept. im Premier Inn. Das personal war außerordentlich freundlich die zimmer sehr sauber aber was auf jedenfalls Vorzuheben ist sind die super betten, so gut haben wir noch nie in einem Hotel geschlafen. Das frühstück Büffet lässt auch keine wünsche offen, und last but not least wlan ist kostenlos und nur ein paar Minuten zur Seepromenade oder zur Stadt Mitte.

Vriendelijk personeel, lekker eten in het hotel, heel propere kamers en badkamers, perfecte ligging, heel rustige ligging, voldoende parkeerplaats, tankstation en winkeltje met levensmiddelen, echt een aanrader

We like the Premier Inn brand because you always know what you are getting. This location is a 10-15 minute walk from the Pleasure Beach end of the seafront, making it ideal for exploring Blackpool. You do have to cross a car park and a road bridge to reach the streets leading to the sea, but the staff were incredibly helpful with directions and local tram info for us first-timers. The hotel is very clean (I even noticed staff out litter-picking the grounds on Sunday morning) and it has a really attractive bar and restaurant area. Dinner on our first night was good, and the meal deal is great value. For options outside the hotel, we highly recommend the Eating Inn restaurant and the Glass Tower bar (a bit more upmarket), both about 15 minutes away on the seafront. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable stay with friendly staff. We would definitely return!

Most definitely the worst premier inn we have ever stayed in. The location is good (although a bit further back than we had expected). The room itself is a standard premier inn room. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom clean. The main issue with this hotel is the noise. We stayed for 2 nights and each night was the same. We were on the ground floor and the noise from above was horrific. Sound of people moving about, doors constantly opening and closing… it really did affect our quality of sleep. Never experienced this in a Premier Inn before. Our first night was a Thursday so can’t even say it was party people at a weekend! Unfortunately, this isn’t a hotel we would return to.

Found that the access ramp from Reception to the (accessible) ground floor rooms was totally unfit for purpose- impossible for our medium size mobility scooter and we observed a wheelchair user struggling too. Staff most helpful arranging access via fire door instead but that shouldn’t have to be necessary and Premier Inns in my opinion are not providing adequate facilities for disabled people here. Otherwise all good but only for the able bodied, as there is no lift either.
