"Another great time"
Just thought I would like to put a review on today . We stayed 25th of April to 26th 2026 just over night due to family friends birthday in Darwen. We were greeted at front desk by a lovely lady, very chatty and polite and made us feel welcome. Room was clean and was lovely and quiet, great black out curtains to give us a great night's sleep. Staff even next day we're brilliant such a good team. I'm awfully sorry I couldn't remember the lady's name but she will know who these scousers are ha ha. So could management please pass on our thanks again. We will return again soon to see friends so we will book in with the hotel again when we will return. Thanks Lower Darwen premier in gang .

"Review"
Overall, a nice stay! The staff were friendly, the bed was comfortable, and it was conveniently located near a restaurant for food in a quiet area. The only issue I noticed was a bit of mold above the shower head.

"Never Again What a Nightmare Poor Management"
Sadly I had to book this hotel after my AirBnb let me down. At first room looked ok, normal run down rooms. It wasn't until returning back and going to bed did the main issue start. It was gone midnight and pulled the duvet down and saw small spots and stains on cover. Took cover off to sleep with just the duvet, but was disgusted at the stains on the duvet. Ended up throwing on floor and sleeping on bed in our clothes. Duvet is only fit for incineration. Bed very uncomfortable, and pillows very hard as if sleeping on a solid surface.
Heating load of rubbish as room didn't get warm. Lamp on desk with sticker saying danger do not use. Why hadn't this been removed by maintenance?? No TV remote, I don't know what happens to these. Broken bedside table, stain on chair in corner of the room.
Parking a nightmare, luckily we managed to get parked in the last space, but the spaces are not very wide.

Room rundown and price paid for what we had was very over the top.
Check in was fine, and when speaking to female staff on reception in the morning to raise my complaint was polite. I was asked why I didn't ask for replacement duvet. I responded that had been up since 04.30am and was gone 00.30hrs and by the time that would have been sorted, there wouldn't have been a point in booking the room as i was up at 05.00am and wouldn't have got much sleep. Asked to log a complaint and see what compensation I could have been offered. No management what so ever on duty. Was told duty manager back on Monday, email and phone number given but yet still nothing. Very unhappy with customer service.
I would rather have slept in my car and saved £89.
Premier Inn, will you get in touch as I want some kind of compensation. How hard is it to maintain a hotel and keep clean. Your adverts need to come under trading standards.

Great little place to stay, great place for food and drinks next door.

"Weekend away"
The location is great and the rooms very quiet and clean. The bath was very slippy and needs some more anti slip putting in the bath. Very little information given at reception. Good value for money
