Ramsgate (Manston Airport) Hotel

Das Hotel ist ganz neu - praktisch um am nächsten Tag nach Dover zur Fähre zu fahren (30 Minuten). Nebenan gibt es noch ein Restaurant und ein McD.die Zimmer sind einwandfrei, praktisch, sauber und der Preis unschlagbar. Die Fenster kann man leider nicht öffnen - dafür ist die Schalldämmung gut - muss auch sein, da direkt neben an ein Flugplatz ist auf dem Frachtjumbos starten und landen.

Family get together in Minster, checked us in early, lovely clean room, comfy bed and great breakfast in the morning.

We stayed in Room 136. The view out of the window was disgusting- a board and netting were up so we could not see anything at all. Used beer can and lots of debris visible very close to the window. We have never had such a view in a Premier Inn.

There is one good thing to say about this place: it's clean. I tell a lie...there was one more good thing which was the staff at the restaurant were exceptionally kind and helpful (even if the food was awful.. read on...) The negatives are as follows: Room had a big white thing in front of the window, blocking the light; there was no shower cap for the shower or large towel. Worst of all, there was a huge thick duvet - which was sooo hot it made sleeping impossible. We are not in some Nordic ski resort... The food was inedible...just carbs and fats piled on top of each other with no lean vegetable in sight. Just a word on decor here....imagine splodging every pattern under the sun, all together without rhyme or reason. Then stick in some random artwork and electronic lighting... Memorably horrible

Not a bad hotel, greeted on arrival but the first floor absolutely stank, very strong smell of damp and disinfectants, with the not so nice aroma winning out. What made this lower was the choice of contractors used to carry out work, the older one was in the breakfast area 3rd and 4th with his team and all you could hear was a foul mouthed barrage of swearing, every single sentence was laced with expletives , same around the site whilst working, very poo choice premier inn, lovely environment for the children, they reflect on you massively and is the prime reason you got a 1. And breakfast? Small choice and not really great, That older Miserable lady with the glasses working on morning of 4th, she needs some customer experience training, pure rude and attitude with breakfast trays getting thrown around. If you don’t like your job, go somewhere else instead of ruining the experience for paying customers. Room As not as good as other premier inns, level of cleanliness was pretty slack, curtain pole was off When we got in and the hdmi cable didnt work. No power sockets next to the beds, windows not possible to open and the air con was very noisy. Maybe would have considered giving a three but for the disgusting vile potty mouths of the contractors and the moody rude granny loading the food out of the kitchen with about as much consideration and empathy as a corpse.
