St. Albans/Bricket Wood Hotel

Ich würde das Premier Inn in Bricket Wood nicht weiterempfehlen, da es sehr alt und ausserhalb der Stadt ist. Die Räume haben keine Klimaanlage, weshalb es sehr schwül war im Raum und Badzimmer ist ebenfalls sehr alt und daher auch nicht sehr hygienisch. Es hat keine Restaurants, die zu Fuss erreichbar sind. Glücklicherweise ist das Personal sehr nett und zuvorkommend und hat uns geholfen zum Premier Inn, St. Albans City Centre zu wechseln.

We were fortunate enough to enjoy the amazing hospitality of Natalya and her Team during April of 2026. As a group visiting the Premier Inn (Bricket Wood/St Albans) for a family function, it made sense to stop over close by to the event. The Premier Inn at Bricket Wood was an obvious choice in terms of location. Our expectations were low, especially as we were only spending one night at the hotel. However, thanks to Natalya and her colleagues we enjoyed a 5 Star experience! Check in was swift and efficient, which is exactly what any traveller who has been driving all day needs. We were quickly in our rooms which were immaculately clean, well presented and very functional. After a short rest we were ready to go out and passed by Reception where Natalya wished us, a very genuine, pleasant time at our event. We requested extra towels on the way out and these were provided instantly. We arrived back quite late and then enjoyed a very peaceful night's sleep. Morning came round far too quickly and we all enjoyed the outstanding Premier Inn breakfast (separate review left for the restaurant). The time to check out came far too quickly and, once again, thanks to Natalya the process was seamless. In addition to the amazing service, this Premier Inn is in a stunningly beautiful location close to a Water Mill. In summary, as Premier Inns go, the Bricket Wood location is the best I've ever experienced. I have no doubt at all that reason behind my/our perfect visit was down to Natalya and her Team. I would recommend a stay at the Premier Inn and I know we will be back soon to enjoy the location as well as the World Class hospitality.

Staff were great, parking was good and the hotel was clean. Bed was absolutely knackered. Old tired mattress and creaky frame plus my room was next to a very noisy stairwell.

Disappointed with our recent stay, often choose Premier inn for the consistent standards set and you know what you are getting. This is an exception to that rule. Hotel and rooms are not an issue, usual friendly staff , quick check in and clean rooms. The beds and pillows didn’t seem the usual standard though, and I didn’t have the best night. Location is quiet and parking wasn’t a problem for us, although it is relatively small. The main issue was the standard of the beefeater on site, and the food it served. Its appearance inside is rundown, decor leaves a lot to be desired with the walls and carpets covered in marks and stains, not the environment that makes you want to eat. We had paid for the meal deal, so arrived at 6 for evening meal, it took 2 hours to get served with a main meal and dessert. 1 member of staff was left to serve probably 10 tables, clear them serve drinks and seat new guests. The food was edible at best and the same standards applied at breakfast. I usually rave about the breakfast at premier inn, this seemed like an after thought. With a toaster from 1991, chairs and tables moved to a corner of the run down area from the night before to house the cereals etc. the cooked breakfast didn’t seem the same quality either.

Our first time here it was excellent ,reception we got a lovely welcome ,our room was very big everything was clean extra pillows on the unit if needed ,extra tea,coffee etc our in front reception just help yourself, it was out the way down a little lane ,there's a Beefeater just across the path with a lovely river which will be lovely in summer , we will definitely be back
