Hatfield Hotel

I usually stay here due to my business trips. The staff is very friendly and always welcome you with a big smile especially sabreen and Monika. Definitely recommended.

I was very disappointed with my experience. You expect a certain standard from a premier inn, and it did not deliver. The shower was extremely grimy, the floor was covered in fluff and dirt, and there were crushed mentos on the floor. There were also lots of spiders and flies. The window was very foggy, and we were woken up very early in the morning by a digger driving right past it. All i could hear all night was loud coughing, so I barely slept. The plug hole was also full of hair (before we even had a shower) and the bath mat was soaking wet. The water pressure on both the sink and shower was pathetic, and the lack of plug sockets was abysmal. Not even worst of all, there were crumbs in my bed (which had minimal sheets - I was freezing all night) and the room absolutely stank of sweat and must the moment we stepped in. I do not exaggerate when I say the air was so thick I could barely breathe and it made me feel sick. We had dinner in the restaurant, and there was a huge dead fly in my sister’s bolognese. Absolutely disgusting. I don’t know whether they just forgot to clean our room and chucked flies in the pasta, but it was a highly uncomfortable experience. Worst part was dropping my hairbrush down the side of the bed and having to put my fingers into the fluff and grime. Not planning on returning.

Quiet,... bar early morning bin men, comfy bed, good quality linen .Room spacious and clean. The current build did not effect stay.

Good location Poor atmosphere Unhelpful and rude manager The social restaurant with unlimited breakfast thats limited to a few items. As the chef is not making lots of food due to the hotel being empty Disabled spaces taken up by works vans at night and then in the morning they are gone.......

Hatfield Premier Inn has started a refurbishment programme and the new restaurant is great. The food was excellent. I had the mixed grill which was cooked and presented perfectly by Connor the chef. It was also the personal touch as Connor was keen to ensure that guests had enjoyed their food. It mattered to him that guests got the best food experience. Sam was an excellent host in the restaurant with authentic personal service, ensuring that after a busy day at work that you were looked after. You felt that he genuinely cared. I was staying a couple of nights for business and the customer service from my welcome on arrival and in the restaurant service was brilliant. Really good customer service. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. A great night’s sleep. The hotel is in a really convenient spot for work in this area.
