Lymington (New Forest, Hordle) Hotel

Initial impressions were of a tired old inn, but very clean inside and fantastic staff. Evening meals were somewhere between average and disappointing, but breakfast was better.

Great warm welcome from Matthew who was very helpful and portrayed a great enthusiasm for his job. Room was basic bed clean and comfortable. Carpet had stains and although bathroom gleamed. It's the attention to detail that lowered the mark. Build up of body fat... orange stains under soap holder. Along base of shower cubicle and along base by entrance to shower. A good clean is needed please....Restaurant old and dated but staff delivered great customer service. Food was hot and tasty I believe it was Ollie and Mark responsible for service and food. As this was a last minute break overall for what price we paid we enjoyed our stay and would consider returning, because of the staff. Thanks to everyone.

i wish i could write to them personally but please pass on to the staff Amelia, Matthew, Olliver, Gemma and Mark our thanks for their service, help, friendships made and the whole place in general although short staffed they served us well taking care of every need the food was excellent and we stay at premier inns on a regular basis but this was the best one so far a fantastic effort by all and rooms were spotless as usual with all premier inns so will you say thanks to all from Wooky, John, Boo boo, Nick, Keith, Buster and Doc (theyll know who we are ) thank you x

Stayed here recently with Mum and despite the property being old and the pub next door closed to the public the accommodation was fantastic, ALL the staff were extremely friendly, efficient and could not do enough for us, you can use the pub for breakfast & dinner & drinks if required, we only had breakfast but it was lovely and cooked to order well presented and tasty , the rooms were clean and well equipped, yes the building does look run down on your approach, yes the tables are quite worn in the restaurant but who cares!!! It’s clean and extremely well managed by a very young team of staff who make you very welcome & to be honest it’s the staff that set this place aside from other places , give it a go and you definitely won’t be disappointed 😊 I hope Premier inn you appreciate what an absolutely awesome team you have at this venue!

Great stay, room is very clean & comfortable. Matthew who was at check in was very attentive, took the time to go that little further. Evening meal service was good, Olliver also very attentive, service was fast and the food was tasty. Complimentry drink was a nice touch. Very enjoyable stay.
