"Preiswert - freundlich - sauber"
ein typisches "Motel" am Rande einer Hauptstraße in Wigan. Dennoch, konnte man ruhig und gut die Nächte verbringen.Das Hotel war sauber und der Service im Haus sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.Im angrenzenden Restaurant konnte man ein gutes Frühstück zu sich nehmen - aber auch in den nahe gelegenen Supermärkten bieten die verfügbaren Cafés angenehme Speisen an.Insgesamt waren wir wirklich sehr zufrieden.

"Buffet exceptionnel, très bon rapport qualité prix "
Hotel propre tranquille et professionnel.
Avec un accueil souriant et un très bon rapport qualité prix.
Le buffet du breakfast est exceptionnel et à volonté.
Les chambres sont spacieuse et silencieuse.
Aucun regret sur le choix de cet endroit.

"Appalling Housekeeping and False Claims Afterwards"
Absolutely appalled by our experience at Premier Inn Wigan (M6 Jct 25).
After a sensitive hygiene issue involving my disabled child with ADHD, reception was informed that bedding needed changing. We returned later to find visibly soiled pillowcases still left on the bed, dirty towels left in the bath, rubbish and pizza boxes still in the room, dirty cups untouched, and the bathroom sink uncleaned.
We attempted repeatedly during the stay to get help. Reception was repeatedly unattended, forcing me to leave written notes requesting housekeeping because there was nobody available to speak to. Even on departure there was nobody at reception.
What makes this even worse is that despite photographic evidence and repeated explanations, Premier Inn continues claiming the hotel “was not given the opportunity” to resolve the issue during the stay. That is simply not consistent with what actually happened.
The most shocking part is that this involved a vulnerable child in an already embarrassing and distressing situation. Premier Inn publicly promotes support for hidden disabilities and displays the Sunflower Lanyard scheme throughout its hotels, yet in practice we experienced no meaningful support, no sensitivity, and no accountability whatsoever.
This was not a minor housekeeping oversight. We were left sleeping in a room that did not feel clean or hygienic after specifically reporting a sensitive hygiene issue.
Still no explanation has been given as to why visibly soiled pillowcases were left on the bed and used towels left in the bath after housekeeping had been requested.
Deeply disappointed by both the standard of cleanliness and the handling of the complaint afterwards.

"Sleep in your car instead."
Receptionist kept burping as he checked me in, which was unpleasant and unprofessional.
The bathroom had a broken, rusty soap dispenser which was empty.
The backlight above the bed kept coming on all through the night despite having been turned off, so my sleep was continually disturbed. I left the place feeling tired and underwhelmed.

"A Great Place to Stay"
Upon arrival receptionist recognised us from our visit a year ago. Very friendly and happy person. Made us feel very welcome. We were close to where we wanted to travel to. Rooms were comfortable, clean and quiet.
The Brewers Fayre next door was also very welcoming and with good food.
