    "Very disappointed"
    Positives: 1. Location is good with free parking and easy access to supermarket facilities close by if any supplies are needed. 2. Reasonably priced rooms. Negatives 1. The whole place looked very tired and run down. Refurbishment badly needed. Definitely not upto usual Premier inn standards. 2. The room carpets were really dirty and general cleanliness left much to be desired (One of rooms had someone’s clothes/undergarment below one of the beds!!). 3. While we were aware of no air conditioning, the rooms do become quite hot & muggy in summer months. Fans provided may not be enough. 4. Can be noisy as the place is in the direct path of landing aircrafts at the nearby airport which continue till late at night (unless one enjoys plane spotting when it is at an excellent spot!).

    At the begingng of July I stayed with my friends in the hotel, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. From check-in to check-out, everything was OK. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile and happy to assist with anything we needed. The rooms were spotless and spacious — exactly what you'd hope for after a long day out exploring Manchester. We also appreciated the quiet surroundings — even though the hotel is well-located near the airport and main roads. Breakfast was perfect! Great variety, fresh food, and plenty of options for everyone in our group. Whether you’re after a full English or something lighter, they’ve got you covered. Overall, this hotel was a perfect base for our trip — clean, convenient, and great value for money. We’ll definitely be staying here again next time we’re in the area. Highly recommended!

    Excellent stay as always! Great location, nice parking, very easy to get to airport. Room was clean, staff very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.

    Yet another great stay at PI Cheadle while using Manchester Airport. Excellent location, quiet and at the same time close to some shops and pubs. The airport noise doesn't affect too much with double glazing available weather is not that hot now. New desk fans since last visit, good addition though. Will definitely visit again.
    "Dark and dreary"
    Upon arrival I was shocked by how run down the outside looked. Was very dated and had definitely seen better days. Upon check in the lady behind the desk was nice and friendly. Myself and my daughter headed to our room. We walked down a long corridor with all the rooms boarded up. My 10 year old looked scared as it was dark and dreary. We went into our room which was pitch black as the curtains had been closed. The room was very dark, dated and needed a paint job for sure. It was fairly clean if you didn’t open the curtains and see the state of the white net curtain behind it which was covered in stains and dead insects. The bathroom was more Morden however behind the door was what looked to be a blood stain on the wall. Luckily we wasn’t spending much time in the room was just there purely to sleep. We went for breakfast in the morning and was waiting ages for our order to be taken even though the restaurant was practically empty. When food arrived we couldn’t even eat it. The bacon was green/gray, hash browns still raw, strawberries were frozen then defrosted as they were just slimy mush. We decided to get food elsewhere. The drinks were nice though but not for the price we paid.
