"Mediocre"
We enjoyed our recent visit and the upgrade to a sea view. However, we feel this is primarily due to the fact that there is so much construction going on at the hotel. It did not directly affect us as we did not want to use the bar or restaurant which were closed for refurbishment. However, the car park was a bit of a nightmare. It does stay on the booking that no car parking is included however but it really means currently is you have to park Next Door and work out how to pay for the car park which expires at 9 pm the staff were not able to advise on how to play this and on a Sunday morning I didn’t fancy getting up prior to the car park opening to put more money on my ticket. I finally worked out using the second car parking app that I could pre-pay this. Much time would’ve been saved if staff would’ve known this or been able to advise.
Shame as the hotel is in a nice spot. Very hot as limited air-conditioning and windows do not open, not even a crack. Personally, I hate being in a hotel room that you can get no fresh air, although I do understand why they do it.
What I say again, probably not currently with the heat particularly

"wheelchair friendly - air con issues"
very accessible for wheelchair users, pleasant room with a sea view, but sadly unable to access the balcony as no handle on the door and on the day we were there, the room's aircon wasn't working.
Also disabled parking was provided. They had work taking place when we stayed so unfortunately the bar and food area was closed but tea and pastries were provided.

"Would not Stay again"
Tried to oder food at 18.15pm only to be told we can't not until 18.30 by an indignant waitress

"Terrible"
Sadly, it was terrible as they were having building works done and there was no restaurant or breakfast facilities and no onsite parking but these things were not mentioned when we booked and the cost of the rooms was not reduced to reflect this.

"Rude,nasty staff"
Drove 6.5 hours from liverpool to attend my mums funeral the following day. But whrn we arrived we found there was no parking,no restaurant due to building work. And we booked this a while back but nothing on the website.When I expressed my frustrations one of the younger male members of staff gave me the most dirtyiest look ever making me feel uneasy as I have a walking disability. I asked the young male what he was looking at the next thing the older male who must have been in charge told me that he is not allowing me to stay at the premier inn. I asked why he replied your abusing our staff. I replied back one minute your memver of staff gives me the most dirtiest stare ever making me feel uneasy and I am not allowed to ask what he is looking at. The supervisor then turned round and was clear that my wife and I will not be staying there even though we have driven 6.5 hrs been told there is no parking no restaurant facilities and that he does not care if I am attending my mums funeral. After 5 to 6 mins I had to apologise ti the young male who by then had a big smile on his face.But still the supervisor would not let us stay so I apologised to him. Only then did he he apologise back saying he should not have been that quick in his responce and also the tone of his responce.So even though I was not abusive or swearing just frustrated that the Premier inn was late advertising thr work going on I had to apologise just so we could stay. And after returning back to the lremier inn on Tuesday night the following morinh we recieved sad news that my dad also passed away of terminal cancer the day after my mums funeral. So a pretty bad 2 days
