Chelmsford (Boreham) Hotel

Die Damen am Empfang war sehr freundlich und ungewöhnlich professionell. Die Zimmer waren Typisch und eher weniger gut. Die Lage vom Hotel ist OK. Bar, Restaurant und Frühstück sind zweckmäßig und gut.

Sehr günstig gelegen, freundliches Personal und saubere ruhige Zimmer trotz Sicht auf A12. Frühstück und Restaurant gleich nebenan im Grange sind ebenfalls empfehlenswert, Gute Küche und umfangreiches english breakfast. Komme gerne wieder

Premier Inn Hotels sind ideal für kurze oder längere Aufenthalte. Saubere und große Zimmer, mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Sehr ruhige Unterkunft. "The Grange" in unmittelbarer Nähe bietet gutes Essen in gemütlicher Atmosphäre. Das Frühstück ist hervorragend, da variabel für jeden Geschmack und für jede mögliche Zeitdauer...vom Snack bis zum vollen englischen Frühstück. Hotel wie Pub: Äußerst freundliches Personal, immer hilfsbereit und zügig arbeitend.

Ich habe mehrmals länger hier gewohnt (2+ Wochen), denn dieses Hotel liegt in der Nähe des Hauptbüros meines Arbeitsgebers. Man kann sich vorstellen, dass es für das Hotel zeitweise recht 'aufregend' sein kann, eine größere Anzahl von Offshore-Typen unterzubringen, aber ich hatte nie ein Problem. Als ich einmal einen Tag nicht im Hotel war und sich bei meiner Tochter ein seltsamer Ausschlag zeigte, machten sie sogar einen Termin mit einem Arzt am Ort. Ich kann ihnen dafür nie genug danken. The Grange in der Nachbarschaft bietet sehr gutes Pub-Essen und am Wochenende kommen alle Einheimischen dorthin. Dem Entwurf nach ist die Pub anheimelnd und soll älter aussehen. Die Musikberieselung wird aber nach einiger Zeit langweilig. Zum Frühstück hat man die Wahl zwischen kontinentalem oder vollem englischen Frühstück (von guter Qualität). Unter den Hotels im Chelmsford Gebiet, in denen ich bereits gewohnt habe, ist dieses Hotel das angenehmste. Der einzige Nachteil ist die Abgeschiedenheit.

Arrived in Hotel and given access to room 214 on top floor. there were clean towels and a clean bed we were very tired after a long journey We were booked for 5 days the storage for clothing was not adequate for two peoole for 5 days five coathangers in a makeshift wardrobe one drawer in the bottom and no where to store the rest of our clothing. We were there to attend a wedding hence the reason why our clothes needed to be hung up. I went back to reception to explain our long stay and our requirement for more storage, I was greeted by a very harrassed and rude female , who stated our room was standard across the Premier Inn group, she had no chest of drawers of any description to offer nor bedside cabinets with drawers, she asked me what I wanted as she was expecting a busload of customers due immenently and if I wanted to complain she could furnish me with the H.O. No, other than that she could do nothing. In the morning we realised that the room was not clean the door on the inside filthy with big greasy hand prints all over The Curtains on the window were stained all down from the middle to the bottom, the carpet had a stale snell.all over the corridors camouflaged with a sickly smelling perfumed smell. We hung a card that was on the dresser requesting that the room be freshened, this was ignored for three days as were were out till late each night we didnt see the point of complaining as the housekeeping staff wouldnt have been available late at night after three days no clean towels, no offer to freshen room I complained at the reception at my first opportunity to do so to be informed that you had to report to the front desk and request that your room needed cleaned . I asked what was the reason for the card in the room, I am still awaiting a reply to my question . So on the fourrh day we were provided with clean towels and the room was vacumed and bathroom cleaned the door and curtains remained dirty not adressed in any way . There was some local music concert which attracted lots of youngish people on fheir return to the hotel they proceeded to loudly converse from just after midnight until 4 am right beneath our window. So all in all a very bad experience all round. This was our first experience of using premier Inn after being recomended and I certainly will not be using them again in fhe future. Rude staff ,dirty rooms, no Storage for clothing. They really should inform anyone staying for more than two nights that its not suitable for longer stays.. I will post photographs below.
