Had a 2 night stay here it’s a great location staff are great and doing there best but in this heat with no air conditioning and a window that opens an inch all the fans are doing is circulating hot air around the room I have never experienced anything like it, cool evenings outside yet the internal temperature didn’t drop from 32degrees during our 2 days. Very uncomfortable and wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you want to be sleeping in a sauna

It would be very unreasonable to expect a 5 star experience at a budget hotel, however it is completely reasonable to expect a level of professionalism from the staff, who were very pleasant (on the whole), but sloppy. The room was great. Comfortable bed, nice shower and good size. My only issue was a dripping tap in the sink. Breakfast was great. I paid for two but only had one. I had to leave very early the next morning and was advised that I could have a continental breakfast from 5.30am. Nothing was ready at 5.45am. I was abruptly told I was misinformed and refused a refund. The woman was very unpleasant. It’s also not great overhearing staff talking about tanning their private parts on a sun bed! This hotel would definitely get a 4 or 5 star review if the conduct and attitude of the staff was up to scratch. Something to work on.

We had the worst night sleep of our lives . It was the 27th of June , external temperature was a pleasant 21 degrees, inside the room 32 c and no air . At 3am I couldn’t take it any more and had to go outside and sleep in my car . I came back at around 4 am to check my wife was still conscious and hadn’t succumbed to heat exhaustion . I am half joking but it was a serious matter and rooms were genuinely unsafe . These rooms should not be let in this condition it’s a health risk . To make it worse me and my wife paid 106 pounds for the privileged of being starved of oxygen and poached alive .
