Eastbourne Hotel

Das Premier Inn Eastbourne haben wir für eine Nacht auf der Durchreise gebucht. Das Zimmer war sauber, aber schon etwas abgewohnter als man das von anderen Premier Inns gewohnt ist. Auch die Einrichtung des Zimmers wirkte etwas zusammengesucht und entsprach nicht der Standardmöbilierung denen ich sonst bei meinen vier Aufenthalten in anderen Premier Inns begegnet bin. Trotzdem gab es am Aufenthalt nichts zu meckern. Sehr nett war der Empfang, der einen Fehler meinerseits bei der Onlinebuchung (Einzelzimmer statt Familienzimmer) ohne Diskussion geändert hat. Das Frühstück gibt es im Nachbarrestaurant The Mill.

We recently stayed at a Premier Inn in Eastbourne and unfortunately our experience was a bit disappointing. The overall cleanliness of the room was not up to the standard we expected, with several areas needing more attention from housekeeping. We also had an issue with the sink plug not working properly, which meant the sink became blocked during our stay. Thankfully, the staff were polite and came to unblock it when we reported the problem, but it was inconvenient to deal with in the first place. While the staff were helpful, the maintenance and cleanliness of the room really let the stay down.

Extremely clean and quiet room if a bit warn out, nice shower loved the shower gel, friendly staff, breakfast was mediocre.

The room and corridors smelt of cigarette smoke. When I opened the windows there were old cigarette butt's and ash left outside the window sill. There was only one pillow each and one tea bag. For the price I would have expected more comfort and a less stinky room. On the plus side the bed was comfortable and clean.

Again not the greatest of stays. On the positive side, the beds are comfortable and the issues we had were addressed by the staff, however it seems every time at this hotel there is an issue. This time we changed rooms on arrival. The plug in bathroom sink was seized closed and would not drain, there was residual water in the bowl. Whilst not the end of the world, I did raise with the reception, and in fairness they moved us to another room. However the one thing that lets this hotel down and I fully realise that it is nothing to do with the Premier group is the attached restaurant, The Mill. This time there was no chef available so no cooked foods for breakfast and evening meals. Due to the remoteness of the hotel, you need a taxi to find alternative. Unfortunately this also reflects on the Premier Inn. This is not the first time we have had issues here, but it will be the last time.
