"Nett gelegen, zentrumsnah"
Schneller Check-In, freundliche Mitarbeiter, sehr gutes Frühstück,
einfach aber alles was man brauch.
Leider ist das Hotel gar nicht ausgeschildert.
Zimmer sind sehr Sauber, gemütliche Betten, dieses Premier Inn ist
eins der besseren, naja es ist ja auch noch sehr neu.

""modernes" Einerlei"
Das Hotel wirkt wie ein modernes Hostel. Die Einrichtung würde ich als langweilig ohne jeden Stil oder Atmosphäre bezeichnen. Zum Frühstück, was nicht im Preis inbegriffen war (man konnte wählen zwischen Continental und Englisch - beides nicht gerade günstig) musste man anstehen und ca. 15 Minuten warten, bis ein Tisch frei war.
Alles in allem finde ich das Hotel einfach zu teuer, ohne dass ich direkt einen mangel benénnen kann.

"Great Facilities, Let Down by Staff Attitude"
I had a really disappointing experience overall, mainly due to the service from a member of staff named Billy. When I first arrived at reception, he was slumped over the desk, completely absorbed in his phone, and didn’t acknowledge me at all. I stood waiting for around 10 minutes before he even looked up. When he finally did, there was no apology he simply pointed me towards the self check-in desk, saying he was busy. It felt dismissive and unprofessional.
After finally being checked in, I have to say the room itself was perfect with no issues at all. However, the experience with Billy continued in the restaurant. He came across like he didn’t want to be there at all, which made things quite uncomfortable. The other staff member on shift was great, I made a point to go to him each time as I knew I wouldn’t get much of a response from Billy.
On a more positive note, after speaking to the manager on shift, they handled my feedback really well, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the repeated poor service from Billy left a negative impression overall.
My experience was the complete opposite of what your advert promotes.

"it was a good stay"
are stay was good the food was good the staff where good and helpful but only one thing the restaurant was cold we had to keep our coat on it could have done with the heating on night and morning otherwise there was nothing wrong with the stay good value for money room 114 Mr Christopher Sheldon thank you

"Surly staff, dirty lift and a dirtier bathroom"
Immediately from walking in, there was a disinterested staff member on reception who didn't even look up, say Hello, or smile. After a while of me standing there, he just looked up at pointed to the self service check in. "Use that" he said. My experince of Premier Inn Self Check In terminals is always poor - it is rare they work properly so I was reassured that this one did not buck the trend because it refused to check in me in as "my room was not ready" (I was checking in just before 4pm - the check in is at 3pm). So I had no choice but go back to the surly recpetionist who after tutting and sighing eventually gave me my room key.
I made my way to the lift which to be frank, has seen better days. It was dirty and grotty inside - it needed a clean and a spruce up.
When I got my room, it seemed nice enough but when I got to the bathroom, there was a putrid smell which I discovered was the back of the toilet seat plinth was encrusted with urine. I wasn't keen on going back to the unhelpful receptionist to ask for another room so took to cleaning it myself using toilet paper and shower gel and I left the window open to get rid of the smell. I went out for the evening so when I came back, it had gone.
The bedroom itself was clean and the bed was comfy for a good night sleep, however on checking out, there were no staff around at all. Certainly not a place where I was welcome as a guest.
The problem is they have a captive market here - they are the only chain hotel in the centre of Dorchester and they can compete on prices easily with the greedy local independent B & Bs and hotels who charge high prices.
