Derby City Centre (Cathedral Quarter) Hotel

Sehr sauberes und modernes Zimmer. Bad mit Badewanne, Boxspringbett mit bequemer Matratze. Nette und aufmerksame Angestellte. Wir konnten unser Zimmer sogar schon vor der offiziellen Check-In Zeit beziehen. Gutes Frühstücksbüffet; das Restaurant, in dem man das Frühstück zu sich nimmt, kann allerdings etwas unterkühlt sein (Pulli mitnehmen ;) ) Alles in allem ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt!

Ziemlich unpersoenliche angelegenheit , der Empfang ist ein Computer . Mit einem Sonderzeichen im Namen ist das Einchecken nicht moeglich. Bezahlt wird im vorraus. Zimmer sind ok , aber mehr nicht . Concept ist ähnlich zur ibis kette. Fruhstueck ist ok , da lohnt sich eher der Weg zur Standing Order oder in die Mall um längen besser und lebende Menschen. Fuer Autofahrer , parken muss man im öffentlichem parkhaus . Von der Parkarte kann man 20% im Hotel a ziehen lassen. Frei parken nicht moeglich

Ottimo hotel. In pieno centro città, vicino a tutto. Spazio per parcheggio interno e possibilità di attesa taxi su corsia esterna. Stanze molto pulite e climatizzate, ben insonorizzate e con letti molto comodi. La parte di ristorante offre molte scelte, e nel complesso il cibo è buono

Lovely service from staff Aggie and Suzanne. The chef Sam prepared an absolutely delicious breakfast for us. We all enjoyed it. Keep up the good work. Will definitely be back here again.

We stayed this week in an accessile room on Floor 2 Premier Inn is our prefered Hotel Chain and we often stay in them I know it's the way of the world now but we do miss a reception desk but a lovely lady came out of hiding to greet us and showed us the bell and where to find the lift This hotel is ten years old and showing its age but clean and tidy throughout The bed was two singles zipped together and extremely comfortable. As usual we slept very well indeed and could hear nothing from the street Tea and coffee adequate . Minimal milk. Saved it for two cups for breakfast We had a problem with the bathroom. I am wheelchair bound being an amputee and therefore incapable of walking at all. The door to the bathroom wasn't wide enough to let me into the bathroom despite my chair being a particularly maneuverable one. The fault was in the door which couldn't be opened as wide as the opening due to stupid instalation in siting the opening too far left. After much consultation with many staff and a couple of hours we did meet the man who could fix it. He came back with his tools and removed the door. Yipee ! Well done man. Otherwise we would have had to leave. But I was mildly annoyed in having to miss those couple of hours in Derby centre As this problem had never been encountered in the past ten years I can only presume that most wheelchair users are fully ambulant when need be.If we need to stay in town again I'll phone well ahead for the door to be removed . By the way, all the staff we met were friendly and helpful and next time we'll stay for breakfast, I must add that we consider this to be good value for money as was the charge for parking at Bold Lane as we need High security on our car with it being essential to my mobility and we were not reassured of being entirely safe when we ventured out into the town at night
