Penrith Hotel

Experience was okay but I am honestly disappointed by the staff. I returned a few days after my stay to see if my lost pandora bracelet had been put into lost and found , only to see a worker wearing my exact bracelet young brown haired girl my late mother bought me that I did not want to cause a scene over this but hope to be contacted and get it back.

We had a quick stopover on way to Scotland just for one night. On arrival the check in queue was backed out of the door. A rude guest was causing a scene - totally uncalled for and this was the cause of the queue. The young girl at reception, Alexis, was trying her very best and handled the situation beautifully. Calm and polite, she did everything in her power to help this Gentleman. Long story short, we were offered a coffee/soft drink while she double checked that our room was ready for us. Another member of staff (didn’t catch her name unfortunately) was also lovely and made sure we were looked after! This Lady stayed long after her shift had ended in order to sort out some hiccups! That shows dedication! We would have no issue staying here again as the staff couldn’t have been lovelier. The only thing I would mention is that the Hotel itself could do with a lick of paint but the bathroom and bedding were all spotless with lovely air con!

Premier in. Hotel Penrith . Very comfy bed and pillows nice tidy /clean room. Breakfast was a disaster no coffee machine , had to wait for eggs and bacon , when they came out they were gone so quickly and had to wait for more , the breakfast on our plates was then cold . Erica & Mel were rushed off their feet , couldn’t do enough for people , , if it wasn’t for Erica & Mel we would have walked out . 2 lovely ladies who are a massive asset to your hotel .

A really superb place to stay when visiting the Lake District; friendly staff and the room met our expectations. Only downside is that there is no bar and the food choices are too limited but given the numerous local eating places that was not a major issue for us.

Our stay was good, rooms were clean and hotel was quiet. Parking was easy and whilst we were there all was good. However, we left some items behind and trying to speak to anyone at the hotel to try and sort their return is impossible. There are no phones to actually speak to a human and the web chat simply refers to the general number, so stay was good, post stay is not good and really disappointing.
