Stockton-on-Tees (Teesside) Hotel

Wir haben 3 Nächte in diesem Hotel verbracht und haben sehr gut geschlafen. Die Lage ist etwas außerhalb und das ist auch gut so. Einzig das Bad ist veraltet und könnte auch mal eine gründliche Reinigung gebrauchen. Besser eine Renovierung. Das Personal ( Rezeption und Zimmermädchen)war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und gut gelaunt. Wir würden wieder dort Übernachten. Einzig das Frühstück hat mich nicht überzeugt.

Car park was very busy when we arrived. Was expecting it to be as a Friday evening. However, managed to get parked near the hotel entrance. Beefeater pub was literally a few steps from hotel. Reception partners were very cheerful and welcoming. Room had everything we needed. Beds were very comfy and the room temperature was spot on. I loved the 'please tiptoe' signs in the corridors. I appreciate these aren't serious signs, but I do believe they do make people walking about at night, to think about the noise they're making. They seemed to work as we didn't have any loud noises. Was a great stay and will stay here again when next in the area.

The staff make this hotel an excellent place to stay. They are welcoming, friendly and helpful. Reception staff Dave, Rachel. Abi and Christina are all so helpful and friendly. Head of housekeeping staff Sam is so efficient, warm and friendly nothing is too much trouble to her. Also Lyndsey in housekeeping is very helpful and very good at her job. The food at breakfast is excellent and Natalie the Manager ensures it is all run smoothly. Del is so lovely and welcoming and helpful as is Abbey. The chefs are very good and also very helpful. Talia a general manager is very efficient and very helpful and always gets things done quickly if you have a request. The issues I have are about the building and are issues for the management of Whitbread to address. There is no air con which I think is a must in any hotel. One of The grab rails in the bathroom of the room(s) which a lower bath/shower is not located in the right position and is of no help currently. The accessible room with a wet room is located so far away from reception and the exit, that walking the distance is, and will be a problem for people with mobility issues. There are no fridges in the rooms. My medication needs to be in a fridge and the staff kindly made arrangements for it to be stored in the kitchen fridge. But a fridge in a persons room is necessary not only for medication but also to store a drink and sandwich especially when you are staying a long time like I am. I hope Whitbread address these issues. I hope they also they recognise the great staff they have and that it’s the staff which make the hotel good and make people want to return again.

Great staff , I arrived late 10pm , I spoke to the receptionist on checking in said I had a very long day , she offered me some fruit as no food available. Great nights sleep . Same receptionist Allison was covering for chef due to absence of chef . My breakfast was excellent 5 stars , Chloe was also very helpful. I recommend this premier inn highly

Premier inn has gone down so much We had a room ,no AC working, no net Curtains, no privacy, people across could see directly across and like wise Whst has happened to this come a have a comfy sleep, not any more The rooms are dark and that wow mo more Travel lodge have overtaken you Poor service now 3 rd Premier in now in a row Never again will.we visit
