Warrington Central North Hotel

Recently stayed at this premier inn, lovely and clean premier plus room. Reception Staff were super friendly and very helpful as were the breakfast staff. Unfortunately my wife left her GHD hair straighteners in the room on checkout,we have since phoned and been told by someone on reception they were not in their lost property. So please keep your eyes open on marketplace in the warrington area ;) BUT really unimpressed with this from a big chain like premier inn !!!!!!

Nhs worker. Checked in. Receptionist initially friendly. Paid for room. Despite living locally on call for work. (Nhs standby) Handed check in room key. Couldn't see as had no glasses on...asked her for the room number. Practically pointed at it and had a go at me and said you shouldn't say out loud..should know better. ..there was no one in the vicinity....treated like a (56) yesr old child. Presumed as a lone female I was up to no good...not all females/males check into hotels despite living locally are using a base for recreational purposes.

My room number was 209 (family room). The bathroom was very smelly. It smelled urine. I only found it out after I had cleaned everything in the bedroom and that's why I didn't ask to change room. I cleaned the bathroom myself but the smell was still there. The problem is that I have nasal allergy and is very sensitive to strong scent or offensive smell. I had to hold my breath every time I went to the bathroom. And I literally didn't sleep much due to this. I told the receptionist when I checked out. Luckily, we only stayed for one night. Besides, the room was a bit smaller than any other family room that I have stayed at other Premier Inns before. The breakfast I had was not hot enough. The so-called grilled tomato was simply served without being cooked.

This is a fantastic premier inn! Although there was no air con in the room we were left an oscillating fan which perfectly did its job - was nice and quiet too so we could have this on during the night. The reception staff were warm and friendly and there was even ice cold water to enjoy whilst checking in. Also worth noting the safe secure parking which is free for guests. The highlight was the breakfast! This was the best premier inn breakfast we’ve ever tasted. Everything cooked to order, piping hot and fresh. Shout out to the chef Kerry - marvellous food! We were served by Laura & Daria who were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. This was a busy Saturday morning but everything was served with a smile and they checked if we needed anything else. This is now my favourite premier inn and we cannot wait to return and of course have that breakfast again :-)
