The pint sized princess of pop is coming to Newcastle with her world tour, KylieX2008. The Gaydon Mini Festival takes place on 5 and 6 July in Gaydon, Warwickshire and celebrates all things Mini. For the big kids, there's the largest collection of historic British cars and classic Minis. There's also loads of activities to keep the little kids entertained too.

The West End Festival (WEF) runs from 13 to 29 June and is Glasgow's largest cultural event. Featuring classical, choral and rock concerts, theatre, dance and much, much more. It's more than just a street festival; it's a celebration of culture from across the globe.

The Garforth Arts Festival takes place from 24 June to 5 July in Garforth, Leeds. It prides itself on the crazy mix of musicians, artists and speakers that play there each year. This year there'll be appearances from Richard Hawley, Jazz Jamaica and storyteller Gervase Phinn.
