Nottingham Christmas Markets 2015

A magical wonderland of ice, arts, crafts and bars

It’s impossible not to feel Christmassy in Nottingham this year, as the city plays host to tons of twinkly Christmas markets. Here’s our pick of the best.

Nottingham Winter Wonderland

With the grand City Hall as its picture-perfect backdrop, Nottingham Winter Wonderland is a must-do destination this Christmas. The ‘Old England’ themed event features more than 50 Victorian style cabin stalls, as well as two winter bars, a bandstand and ice rink to keep you entertained.

Patchings Christmas Market

Feel the friendly warm buzz and pick up some wonderful handmade gifts at Patchings Christmas Market. More than 50 beautiful stalls fill the art centre this year, all run by talented artists and crafts people.

Christmas Art & Food Market, Harley Gallery

If you’re looking for something a bit different - perhaps a gift for that hard-to-buy-for-relative or a very-special-someone - head to Harley Gallery on the last weekend of November.

This arty Christmas market includes a collection of unusual gifts, all uniquely designed and hand crafted. Stalls feature jewellery, clothing and print works by a mix of new and established artists.

There’s also a tempting food market, with Welbeck Farm Shop selling its wares. Choose from cheeses and chocolates, breads and beers for all your gifting and hosting needs this winter.

Farndon Boathouse Christmas Market

Farndon Boathouse Bar & Kitchen is holding a one-day Christmas Market on Saturday 12 December. As well as a host of Christmassy gift stalls, there’ll be a barbecue and live music to complete the festive scene. Book a table for lunch or simply grab a mulled wine as you browse, shop and soak it all in.
