Bath Christmas Market 2015

The beautiful Roman town adds a modern twist this Christmas

Don’t miss the award-winning Bath Christmas Market, where the streets are aglow with more than 170 wooden chalets selling handmade and locally sourced gifts.

The scene couldn’t be more magical with a backdrop like the Roman Baths and Bath Abbey. Added to that, there’s the aroma of warming mulled wine and freshly baked mince pies, plus the sound of choral carols and Santa’s ho-ho-ho. There’s also an alpine aprés ski bar and cosy rustic snow lodge to reenergise you between stalls.

Outdoor ice rink and glow in the dark mini golf

Bath on Ice is back with its open air ice rink in Royal Victoria Park. Little ones can skate with a push-along penguin or banana, and you can all relax afterwards at the cosy pizza chalet or ice lounge bar and café.

New for 2015 is Glow in the Dark Mini Golf, which you’ll find right next door to the ice rink. It’s essentially Victoria Park’s crazy golf course lit up for Christmas!

Entertainment at every turn

To complete the festive atmosphere at Bath Christmas Market, there’ll be carol singers, musicians, fairies and elves, all drifting through the streets with their music and magic. Top billing goes to the E3 Theatre Company, Norland College Choir and Natural Theatre Company, who’ll perform around the market.

Bath Abbey will host a full programme of Christmas services, including their not-to-be-missed shoppers’ services, where you can join in the carols inside this stunning church.

There’s also the beautiful Lantern Procession, which takes place on Thursday 19 November to kick start the Christmas market.
