Hot-off-the-press updates from the world of Premier Inn
The Tour of Britain
From 6th - 13th September, the world’s top pro cyclists will be pedalling for the winner’s jerseys in the Aviva Tour of Britain. The UK’s biggest professional road cycling race, it’s also the largest free-to-watch sporting event in the country. Everyone’s invited!
The race takes place across eight stages - from the ‘Grand Depart’ in North Wales to the final finishing line in Central London’s Regent Street. For more information about the event visit www.tourseries.co.uk.
Premier Inn at the event
We took our Premier Inn stand to the finish line of each stage, where people took part in lots of fun and games:
Spin to win Jump on to the Premier Inn bike, and take part in our Spin To Win competition, with loads of prizes up for grabs. There’s an adult bike, and a kids bike for the little ones to have a go on too!
Take a selfie If your legs could do with a rest after all that standing, kick back on one of our famously comfy beds and take a selfie with our “Man in the Moon”. But there’s no time for sleeping! Upload your snap to Facebook or Twitter straight away to try and win a Vitus City Bike worth £325, and kindly donated by Chain Reaction Cycles.
Watch the Premier Inn Bed Push Putting a spin on bike racing, our hotels are going head to head in the Premier Inn Bed Push. They’ll be rolling one of our luxury, Hypnos beds more than 150 metres in the hope of making it to the Bed Push Grand Final in Central London on 13th September. The Northern Heat is on 9th September in Blyth and the Southern Heat takes place on 11th September in Nottingham. This is a race you won’t want to miss.…
