It’s partly thanks to our clever hub app, which works on your Android, iPhone or Apple Watch and has seen more than 40,000 downloads this year. Using the app, you can book a hub room in less than a minute. You can also use it to check in and control your room’s lighting and temperature.
We estimate we’ve saved our guests a combined total of over 1,000 hours throughout the year by innovatively weaving technology into the hotel experience – that’s our app, check-in kiosks, smart TVs and super-fast free Wi-Fi, as well as in-room augmented reality maps that come alive with recommendations of local restaurants, theatres and museums.
Our green credentials are cutting edge too. In fact, we’re the only UK hotel rated ‘outstanding’ by BREEAM. Designed with sustainability in mind, hub uses 100% certified renewable energy from a combination of wind, hydro and biomass fuels; it generates its own electricity while heating water for showers; and it’s fitted with energy efficient lighting.
The upshot is that Londoners, tourists and business travellers alike can’t get enough of this state-of-the-art hotel.
Since opening last November, we’ve welcomed nearly 60,000 guests to hub St Martin’s Lane, with an impressive 90%+ occupancy rate. We’ve served around 72,000 cups of complimentary tea and coffee in our Proven Dough Deli+Bar, along with a whopping 20 breakfast combinations and more than 30 menu options through the day. Our Trip Advisor reviews are 95% positive, putting us in the top 15% of the site’s London hotels. It’s a fantastic result for a new entrant to the capital’s hotel market.
