"Disgracefully dirty"
I’m currently staying here and omg if I could give it a zero I would. Where do I start? The place is absolutely filthy!! You can see that they clearly have a No hoovering policy, the carpets are filthy and they have obviously given up on even hoovering up. I am staying with my 10 year old son and the single bed for him is up against the window and the window sill is covered in black mould! It’s not even been wiped clean and when you have a child sleeping next to the window it’s not good for their health!! I have so far visited reception 3 times to complain and no one is ever present. I have pressed the bell 3 times and stood around waiting to complain about the mould and not one person has come out. Shocking! The carpets on the bedroom are equally dirty and also have never been hoovered, I am glad I bought my crocs as I don’t want my feet to touch the bare floor yuk. All surfaces are sticky and the bathroom also has mould. The cooked breakfast is swimming in grease and is stone cold so be prepared to eat a cold English breakfast if you booked it.
I can’t believe how much I paid to stay here, the cleanliness falls far below what you expect of a premier inn. I will be putting a formal complaint in. The only thing good about this place is the location with easy enough links to get about but for what I paid with the usual expectation of clean standards Premier Inn usually has I am actually in disbelief you’d expect this to be a cheap nights stay. Environmental health ought to inspect this place with the damp and mould in fact I might even write to them.

"£510 for three nights very poor value."
We experienced problems with the checking in. Told due to staff shortages our room was not ready. When allocated the room was dirty, shortage of toilet paper, no hand towels. Not a welcome we had hoped for.

"Really poor Premier Inn"
Really awful Premier Inn! We arrived and found dirty laundry and towels still left in bundles on our floor, with dirty cups still left over from the previous occupants too. The young man on reception dealt with this quickly and apologised. However later on in the evening, we tried to turn on the lamp and noticed this was missing the button, then we noticed the horrendous netted curtains and to finish it off, an empty can of Diet Coke that we found under the bed before we were checking out. The cleanliness is awful in this hotel!

"All Excellent"
We were starting the North Coast 500 the following morning so chose to stay at this PI which is a couple of miles from the City Centre
The room was comfortable and quiet with a very large bed. The bathroom was very good as was the shower. (thankfully no shower curtain)
The lady in reception was really helpful. I didn't get her name but she had long blond hair
We wanted an early night before an early start so we ate in the restaurant
We both had the haddock and chips and it was the best fish and chips we'd had for a long, long time. There was not a hint of grease anywhere. The fish was very fresh tasting and, along with the chips, was served piping hot. The portion of fish was absolutely huge.
