"Good stay - great staff!"
Arrived at 11pm after our air bnb fell through. The lady on reception was very welcoming and sorted extra pillows, a bottle of water (as the bar was closing) etc.
The car park is big which is great. We didn’t use the restaurant, went to the diner across the road.
Would stay again!

"Adverts are fooling everybody"
I have never had such a bad night in a hotel. The TV adverts are misleading. The room was so hot, I could not sleep. And it was not a hot summer's night either. It was actually cool outside. We had a fan in the room and the window was opened. They do not have air conditioning. We checked the radiator, just in case. It was not on. The coolest place in the hotel, was the corridor. Bed was very uncomfortable.
This is my second bad experience in a Premier Inn Hotel. It used to mean something. It doesn't anymore! And at a cost of £180, I felt robbed.
I would like to mention the staff. It was the only positive thing. They were very friendly and helpful. I feel for them, having to represent such a poor brand

"Disappointing"
The toilet hadn't been cleaned properly and the seat was unclean. The curtains were also half hanging off the rail and needed to be put back on the track.

"Great hotel again under renovation by the looks."
Just like I mentioned in my previous review, Premier Inn Carrickfergus continues to be a brilliant place to stay. The staff here are incredibly friendly and welcoming every single time, which really makes a difference. There are some changes happening, but they are all for the better. The Brewers Fayre next door is shutting down soon, but you don’t need to worry because the beautiful new restaurant built right inside the hotel is already finished and ready to go.They are also currently upgrading the rooms to the new 'Next Evolution' style. We stayed in one of these newly updated rooms and it was really nice—it even still smelt brand new when we walked in!Highly recommended and we will definitely be back again.

"Convenient position and usual comfortable quality."
Unfortunately on the day we arrived the kitchen was closed due I believe to staffing issues. But there is one of only three Wetherspoons Pubs in Northern Ireland across the road. We only spent one night there but it was clean and comfortable and served our purpose well. Breakfast in the morning wasn't affected and was being served as usual.
