"So much hassle"
The room was good and the manager was helpful. Everything else was a problem 😕 Head office customer service was useless, the restaurant didn't open, the website and confirmation email were inaccurate and only one of the two lifts was working
"Bad mattress for side sleepers"
The new bed doesn't work for side sleepers. Both my husband and I got sore backs and necks, there's just no support and it really sags in the middle as soon as any weight goes on it. Such a shame, the old bed was perfect. I had to sleep on my front in the end without a pillow to get some support. Always loved and stayed in many Premier Inns, including this one last Christmas when the bed was fine. Maybe we were unlucky but think it's the new style 2.0 mattress. This particular hotel is fantastic location for city centre. Charlotte Street car park is good just make sure to get the Ringo app and you can set up your parking the night before in your phone. You don't have to guess how long you want stay, just press stop on your app when you exit. It auto stops 6pm in weekday and free overnight and all weekends. But sadly our Premier Inn says may be over with this mattress being introduced.
"really really poor"
probably the worst premier in stayed in throughout the UK. Staff didn't seem to know what they were doing long delays at check in and single duvets for double beds. Terrible experience
"Terrible Experience"
Terrible experience from start to finish. Check in was really slow, massive queue, told lady on reception we had a restaurant booking & needed to check in quickly. Her answer " should have come earlier". Werent told anything about breakfast times etc, Had booked a twin/quad room was given a room with double bed, totally not suitable for couple who don't sleep together!!! Had to make best of it as ina rush! Breakfast was a shambles, no one at entrance to show you to table, no hot food at all at one stage, tables not cleared or cleaned & floor really sticky, seats are grubby & need replaced. Staff seem to have a "couldn't care less attitude" Again at checkout no one at reception & people waiting to check in. Will not stay again, will go to Holiday Inn or Leonardo.
"Very happy with everything"
Very happy with everything and staff are very friendly and breakfast was first class room was very clean and check in was fast
