Clean and comfortable rooms , slept like a log đ¤, Staff were all helpful and welcoming, a special mention to Tracey who was Front of House at breakfast, really enjoyed our morning chats , and the great service , Tracey your a star â thanks.

"My experience of Premier Inn North"
Itâs a very run down Premier Inn. Unfortunately the restaurant was even worse, food was awful and needed a good upgrade! I can only assume lack of staff has played a big part in this Premier Inn. The staff I dealt with were very helpful.
The noise of the traffic kept us awake.
The real benefit was the free parking.
Unfortunately itâs not one I will be coming back to!

"Ignore the slightly shabby exterior - the helpfulness of the staff is exceptional"
We picked this hotel for an overnight stop as we did not want to drive home from Gatwick on a Bank Holiday Friday after starting our day at 0300hrs! It is much better value than the Premier Inn at Gatwick itself and if I didn't have to be at Gatwick in the early hours would definitely consider this as a pre-flight overnight stop for my next trip.
The outside could do with a coat of paint and the rooms refreshing. However the room was clean (the bathroom was "bathroom product advertising" gleaming sparkling clean) and we had the usual very comfortable Premier Inn Bed.
I would really like to praise Freya, the very helpful and friendly receptionist with good local knowledge. It was refreshing to be welcomed by a human being rather than dealing with a soulless machine checking in process. Freya also used her initiative and quickly sorted out a small problem (which was nothing to do with the hotel) for us.
Top tip - there is no air-con, so if it is hot ask for a room on the North East side (facing onto the Nightingale Service Centre where it will be slightly cooler

"excellent customer service jess!"
We stayed on one of the hottest days getting to 30 degrees. There is no air con however the rooms were fairly cool and a fan was provided. It is a little noisy outside with the traffic with the window open however we didn't mind this. Service though was very good. Jess multi tasked and we saw her in reception and the restaurant. She was excellent and had a lovely warm service, very friendly and the kids enjoyed chatting to her.

"Always a winner!"
As in a lot of premier inns the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, especially the Manager. Clean, quiet and comfy rooms. Easy parking. The building itself, including the restaurant is very tired and breakfast just ok.
