Paige was absolutely lovely and provided excellent customer service during my stay, She was friendly, welcoming, helpful, and made me feel valued. What has happened to Premier Inn!? I’ve had the misfortune to stay in 2 this week for business and they were unfortunately consistently bad. There only ever seems to be one member of staff and you now feel like a complete inconvenience. The kiosk checking in system is not working, but neither site had put signs on these to that effect which is incredibly helpful. So, i ended up at the back of a rather large queue of people waiting for the one member of staff to check us all in. The staff aren’t checking that you’ve registered for parking, and the iPads have been moved over to the back of the room, which feels like a potential stealth revenue charge. Stingy on the tea and coffee in the room, toilet roll is like we’re back in 1980’s school system and I’ve seen cleaner pillows in shop doorways on the street. Appalling. I also got told that I wasn’t a priority this morning when I asked for an invoice as I checked out - the staff member then walked away, dealt with a queue of people queuing for breakfast and then came back to me 10 minutes later. All while I was balancing 5 bags and a laptop, so at least I got a gym session out of it. My colleagues room smelled very strongly of vomit, clearly someone had been sick on the carpet, and they hadn’t properly cleaned it. They went in and sprayed some spray but told her that there were no other rooms for a week and there was nothing else they could do for her. Not even an apology. Honestly, I will be trying to avoid going forward. Premier inn used to be great but now it really feels like a budget hotel. You need to be better Premier Inn! Very disappointed former long time happy customer.

do not book disable access rooms here, they are 62m from reception and another 10-20m from car park into reception. so unless the disabled person is ok to leg it 100m this is pretty useless and should not be termed accessible. The room itself is ok with a wet room and wide doors, but not much use if your disabled person has chest pains getting to it. Reception where of no assistance, ‘that’s where that have always been for 17 years sir’. Clearly management need to lol at this.

Staff were friendly. Not happy about cleanliness of room. Room was dusty, beds weren’t made properly and I had to make them myself. There were moths and spiders left in the room both dead and alive and hair in the bathroom.

No complaints. Clean and spacious room. Friendly staff. Good location with parking at a competitive price. Reccomend.
