History

Home to Warwickshire County Cricket Club, Edgbaston Cricket Ground is one of England’s most famous sporting venues and has been hosting Test Match cricket for over 100 years. Some of England’s finest cricketers have graced the pitch, including Ashley Giles, Dennis Amiss and Bob Willis.

Throughout the summer months, the Warwickshire Bears play over 50 days of domestic cricket, both the traditional format and the faster paced t20. For the rest of the year, lots of other events take place at Edgbaston, including fireworks, weddings, parties and conferences.
