"Premier Inn - Never again, very unpleasant experience"
I recently stayed at Premier Inn Lichfield, and unfortunately it was one of the worst hotel experiences I've had.
The biggest issue was the bathroom. While using the bath, it leaked badly and flooded the entire bathroom, with water spreading into part of the bedroom. I reported it to a member of staff, but was told the hotel was fully booked, so they couldn't move us to another room. The only solution offered was a pile of towels to mop up the flood ourselves. A staff member returned about five minutes later with the towels, handed them to us, and left. There was no offer of assistance or apology for the inconvenience, which was extremely disappointing.
To make matters worse, we had purchased the meal deal, which turned out to be very poor value for money. When we arrived at the restaurant for dinner, we were informed that they were introducing a new menu the following week and that most of the items on the current menu were no longer available. This left us with very limited choices despite having already paid for the meal deal.
Overall, the lack of customer service and poor handling of these issues made for a very unpleasant stay. I expected much better from Premier Inn, but this experience has completely put me off staying with them again. I certainly won't be returning and cannot recommend this hotel based on my experience.

"A shadow of the Brand it once was"
Where have the standards gone in this once class-leading Brand?
The room was scruffy, poorly presented and dated.
The once-fabled breakfast is now unrecognisable in quality from where it once sat.
Bacon, sausages, bread, muffins, pastries - all constantly out of stock - 4 other tables were using the breakfast facility at 10am on a Saturday morning.
The juices were not being chilled BOH, nor were the jugs chilling them. They were literally being served warm.
The worst quality, worst value PI experience I can remember.

"Excellent Premier Inn in a great location"
We stayed for couple of nights last week. The location is excellent, right in the centre, so convenient.
The multi storey car park is next to the hotel. The ground floor is for Premier Inn guests, very reasonable parking charges and the proximity to the hotel made everything very easy.
Every member of staff , without exception, was so friendly and helpful. They made us feel very welcome.
Breakfast was well organised. The usual Premier Inn fare, plenty of choice. No waiting. Everything as it should be.
Excellent air con too. Very quiet, worked a treat as it was very hot weather.
Lichfield is a lovely, compact city. Beautiful cathedral and fantastic parks with lots of accessible footpaths. A great Arts Festival was taking place during our stay too so an added bonus. Lichfield is absolutely delightful and well worth a visit.
Highly recomend this Premier Inn if you are staying over in Lichfield.

"Premier Inn Lichfield"
Perfect location for us, accessable room was a good size and on the ground floor. Clean hotel with friendly and helpful employees. Good breakfasts with cooked food made in small batches so always fresh ( thank you Tracey).
Virtual check in slightly confusing, but employees available to assist.
If you require blue badge parking, check Lichfield Council website for the Priory car park before you travel.

"Shabby Room bar closed early for residents"
We arrived at 14:15 and was charged £15 extra to check in early !!! The room 312 was tired looking the chair in the room was ripped the bed looked crumpled like the duvet was to big for the cover.
Saturday night we wanted to watch the England match but the bar was closed. Sunday morning there were no tables free to eat breakfast so we left.
No Parking at the hotel so we had to park in a multis storey and carry all our baggage across.
There also was a lack of staff presence.
