Oxford South (Didcot) hotel

Hotel Room was lovely, however the beds did not have the quilts on, managed to find one of the quilts under the bed (in a bag) and the childrens quilts were in bags in the Clothes area. There was no Covers for the Quilts though. There was never anyone in reception to speak to, and could not even find a bell to alert them. So unable to talk to the Receptionist about it. Left the sign on the door to say ready for cleaning, however came back in the evening, and no one had been. Could not believe that we had to pay £4.80 a night for parking. Especially, when the only use for the carpark is for the Inn and pub. I understand that, Premier inn wants to discourage non guests from parking and getting a bus to Oxford, but normally, you can register your car as you check inn for free parking. It looked like a number of guests had parked at the BP Garage, to avoid the charge.

Stayed for one night, on the way to the south coast. Paid car park. Check in from 3pm, done on a screen but you can press a bell to summon a human if needed. Room was upstairs - (2 floors total) did not notice a lift. Large, clean and comfortable. Tea and coffee provided. Had a good nights sleep. Breakfast usual premier inn style, kids under 15 eat free. Plenty of choice. We had dinner in the attached Beefeater - would not recommend, wish we had saved the money and had a more enjoyable McDonalds.

Hitels was nice the restaurant was tired and the toilets were horrible. The food was nit great and we have had better food at other premier inn restaurants

Unfortunately not great, we paid extra for early book in but could not check in on arrival by machine so we had to wait ten mins for reception to come to us after runging buzzer countless times.. person at side of us kept us up with tv noise and bathroom flushing constantly. For the price we were not very satisfied and left early due to experience. What with extra money for early check in and late departure, not great

Sooooooo hot!!! Room was over 30C when we checked in. Fan disgustingly dirty. Raised with staff and given additional fan. Asked for first one to be cleaned. It was not. Cleaned it myself following other people’s dust being spread all over the room. Room was between 30-31C all night. Despite it having been 25C or lower during the day. Considered going to sleep in my car. In the morning extraction fan did not work in bathroom so after showers, even hotter. Raised again with staff and told it’s a known problem. Recommended Abingdon premier in down the road. Went to Beefeater night before - awful customer service, apart from 1 woman who was also there for breakfast. Won’t be staying again.
